COVER SHEET FOR OAKLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE

COVER SHEET FOR OAKLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE
This guide is not a comprehensive list of all equivalent courses. It reflects the most current courses offered by Oakland Community College that will fulfill the
prerequisites for the programs listed below. Older courses not listed on this chart may also fulfill the prerequisites for these programs. Please refer to Wayne State
University’s Transfer Credit website www.transfercredit.wayne.edu for a more comprehensive list of courses that may fulfill these prerequisites. All prerequisites
must have a minimum grade of C/2.0. All courses must be for grade. Pass/Fail and Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory grades are not accepted. All science prerequisites
must be completed within six years prior to admission into the program. Prerequisites and equivalent courses change. It is the responsibility of the student to keep
current with any changes to the prerequisites and equivalent courses.
Students who transfer to Wayne State University with an Associate in Liberal Arts (A.L.A.) or an Associate in Science (A.S.) degree or have a MACRAO-stamped
transcript do not have to complete the general education requirements with the exception of the math competency. The math competency is not fulfilled by having
one of the approved associate degrees or a MACRAO-stamped transcript. There are several ways to complete the math competency. For more information on
how to fulfill the math competency, you can go to the following website: https://testing.wayne.edu/app/testinfo.cfm?eid=TEMPE All courses that fulfill the general
education requirements must have a grade of C/2.0 or higher.
An Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.), an Associate in Business Administration (A.B.A.), or an Associate in General Studies (A.G.S.) does not fulfill the general
education requirements. If you have an Associate in Applied Science, an Associate in Business, or an Associate in General Studies, you will be required to
complete all of the general education requirements unless you have a MACRAO-stamped transcript.
