‫‪ .0‬רלוקיישן למחנה קקומה שבקניה‪ ,‬מגורים בחדרים בעלי תנאים מלאים (מים‪ ,‬חשמל‪ ,‬שירותים‪ -‬בהתאם‬
‫לזמינות בתוך מתקני המחנה)‬
‫‪ .5‬כיסוי כל הוצאות השהייה ע"י ישראייד‪ ,‬כולל טיסות‪ ,‬מגורים‪ ,‬האכלה‪,‬תחבורה‪ ,‬הוצאות רפואיות וכו'‪.‬‬
‫‪ 6 .3‬ימי עבודה בשבוע‪ 01 ,‬ימי חופשה כל ‪ 8‬שבועות‪ .‬חודש ראשון כתקופת התנסות‪ ,‬המשך העסקה‬

‫פעילות הארגון בקניה החלה בתקופת בצורת ממושכת‪ ,‬וכללה חלוקת מזון ומוצרים אחרים‪ .‬עם הזמן גדלה‬
‫והתרחבה פעילות הארגון לכדי תוכניות העשרה חברתיות‪-‬מקצועיות ארוכות טווח‪ ,‬אשר באות לענות לצרכים‬
‫השונים של תושבי המחנה‪ ,‬והאוכלוסיה הקנייתית שסביבו‪.‬‬
‫בימים אלה עוסק הארגון בפיתוח של תוכנית העשרה בנושאי מים היגיינה וסניטציה‪ ,‬במטרה לשפר את הרגלי‬
‫החיים‪ ,‬אורח ואורך החיים במחנה‪ ,‬כמו גם להכשיר נבחרים מתושבי המחנה וסביבתו לתעסוקה בתחום המים‪,‬‬
‫ברמות שונות‪ ,‬מהרמה הבייתית ועד לעבודה במוסדות או בפרוייקטים בתחום המים (טיפול במים‪ ,‬קידוחים‪ ,‬דיגום‬
‫מים‪ ,‬טיפול בשפכים‪ ,‬ועוד)‪.‬‬

Place: Kakuma refugee camp, Kenya.
IsraAID, an Israeli international humanitarian aid organization is
looking for a program coordinator and trainer in the field of water
sanitation and hygiene.
IsraAID, an Israel-based humanitarian aid agency, is looking for a project coordinator to assist in
the management and implementation of a water and sanitation training program in Kakuma
refugee camp in Kenya.
The position offers an exciting opportunity to get hands-on experience in non-profit project
management in Africa and lead innovative grass-roots activities in the field.
The job requires relocation to Kakuma, Kenya.

Minimum qualifications:
1. Advanced educational background in science and/or water/environmental/agricultural
engineering/Water technician diploma.
2. Be legally employable in the State of Israel (an Israeli bank account is required).
3. Proved background of teaching/facilitation
4. Excellent English, both written and oral.
5. Strong interpersonal and team skills.

Job description:
1. Coordinating the implementation of training programs in the field of Water, sanitation and
hygiene in a refugee camp in Kenya in tandem with IsraAID's Kenya Country Director.
2. Development of technical training programs.
3. Implementing training programs in collaboration with local staff.
4. Managing logistics, budgets, and general administration of a technical training project.
5. Representing IsraAID at meetings at all levels.
Hiring Conditions:
1. Relocating to Kakuma refugee camp, Kenya, living in accommodation solutions found at the
camp (fully-equipped rooms).
2. IsraAID will cover living expenses while in Kenya including flights, accommodation,
transportation, medical expenses and meals.
3. First month volunteer basis provision period. Full time employment onwards.
4. 6 working days weekly. 5 days off every 8 weeks.
