IT IS THAT TIME AGAIN - TIME TO SIGN UP FOR TWQA!
This year the Texas Water Quality Association is holding its 38th Annual Convention & Exhibition at
the beautiful Embassy Suites Hotel, Spa and Conference Center in San Marcos, Texas, July 13 – 16,
2011. As always TWQA has chosen a site which allows for family fun. San Marcos is located between San
Antonio and Austin which allows for visits to both cities. It has the beautiful Guadalupe River running
through it so there are plenty of tubing and canoeing activities available. San Marcos is also famous for its
Outlet Mall Shopping but if you choose to stay closer to the hotel you can take advantage of the full
service Spa located at the Embassy Suites. So as you can see – YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS!
TWQA has worked hard to make sure that each Exhibitor gets the most for its money. As always our goal
is to include the Exhibitors as much as possible, so each booth registration includes two complimentary
Thursday evening Awards Banquet tickets. We have also included the Friday lunch as a part of the
Exhibit so you don’t have that added expense. Please be assured that we have addressed the food issues
from last year’s show; this year the food will be served by hotel staff and everyone will be served! And as
always your representatives are encouraged to join us at the President’s Welcome Reception Wednesday
evening.
Finally, because of the success of last year’s TECHNICAL TALK AREA in the Exhibit Hall we have added a
second Technical Talk Area. Here is a comment from one of last year’s participants:
“The Technical Talk is a great way to introduce your customers to your company, your
products, and to yourself. Having time on the floor to talk about a product, or group of
products, to an audience of water treatment professionals is time and money well spent. Not
only do your customers receive an education on the presented products but the
presenter receives ideas for sales and marketing from the attendees".

LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
The undersigned firm, referred to hereinafter as “Exhibitor,” agrees as follows:
TWQA will provide exhibit space and facilities in its 2011 Exhibition as described in the Exhibitor
Information sheet and Application for Space.
Exhibitor understands that there are other charges for electrical power, special decorations, shipping and
storage handling, which charges will be delineated in information provided by the Decorator.
Exhibitor will abide by the rules and regulations of TWQA as described and referenced in the 2011 exhibit
information.
Exhibitor will accept space assignment other than choices indicated in the event said choices are not
available or are in conflict with previously assigned adjacent exhibits. TWQA reserves the right to move
an Exhibitor to improve the appearance of the show.
Exhibitor may, if he desires, cancel the agreement and receive a refund less a service charge of $100.00, if
written request is made by June 1, 2011.
The Embassy Suites Hotel, Spa and Conference Center and/or TWQA shall not be liable to the Exhibitor
for any damage to, or loss or destruction of, an exhibit or property of the Exhibitor by fire or other casualty,
whether caused by negligence of The Embassy Suites Hotel, Spa and Conference Center or TWQA, their
officers, agents, servants, employees or otherwise. The Exhibitor assumes the entire responsibility and the
liability for losses, damages and claims arising out of injury or damage to exhibitor’s displays, equipment
and other property brought upon the premises of the hotel, and shall indemnify and hold harmless The
Embassy Suites Hotel, Spa and Conference Center and the Texas Water Quality Association, and any
authorized representative, agent or employee of the foregoing of any and all losses, damages and claims.
Exhibitors or their agents shall not injure or deface the walls or carpets of the building, the booths or the
equipment of the booths. Exhibitors are forbidden to drive tacks, nails or screws into the walls or
woodwork. When such damage appears, the Exhibitor is liable to the owner of the property so damaged.
TWQA reserves the right to refuse any exhibit or Exhibitor and further reserves the right to shut down any
exhibit for breach of this agreement or for cause, in which event TWQA is liable only to the extent of
refunding the exhibit fee.

After the success of last year’s Technical Talk Sessions TWQA has added a second
Technical Talk area to the Exhibit Floor. These areas are designated times where your
company has the opportunity to address multiple Exhibit attendees all at once while talking
PRODUCT SPECIFIC! This will be time for you to promote your company and products or
whatever you would like to talk about.
Sessions will be rotated between each of the “Technical Talk” areas designated on the
enclosed floor plan. Each session will be 20 minutes in length with a 10 minute break
between sessions. TWQA will provide a screen, projector and dry erase board for your use;
however, you are responsible for providing the computer and any handouts needed.
If you would like to take advantage of this feature of the Exhibit please return this sheet with
your information as soon as possible. The sessions will be $100.00 each and will be filled on
a first come first served basis.
