Bassetlaw Hospital in Worksop is one of the main hospitals in Bassetlaw. The hospital has
300 beds. Each year, the hospital treats around 33,000 patients along with 38,000
emergencies in the Accident and Emergency Department.
The hospital is situated in the residential area of Kilton, about half a mile from Worksop
town centre.

My name is Robert, I am Scottish and I live in Edinburgh. When I was a child, I used to
love playing computer games with my younger brother, Brian. I still do because I changed
my childhood hobby to my profession. I work for a company making computer games. There
are six men and four women in our team, including me. We have a lot of fun together,
making up different stories, creating characters and settings. It feels like being a little
boy who never grew up. Something like Peter Pan, really. I do love my life. And my job. And
my friends. Some people say they do not like their job. I feel sorry for them. I can’t wait
to be back in my office every morning and get creating. Someone said to me once: ‘If you
