MX-5 Required Decal Placement All decals must be placed as specified in this document, on a vertical surface which is visible to spectators and photographers. Unless otherwise stated, these decals will be provided by SCCA Pro Racing and must be applied, unmodified, as provided. Windshield Banner The Series Sponsor’s windshield banner must be displayed on the top portion of the windshield. The Windshield Banner and Driver’s Name are the only decals permitted on the windshield. Driver’s Name Driver’s last name shall appear in title case (upper case first letter, lower case others) on the lower right corner of windshield and the top of each door, using decals supplied by the competitor. Windshield letter decals must be white, in Helvetica Bold (or like) font at least 3” high. Door letter decals are open, provided they contrast with the vehicle’s paint. Number Board The series supplied number boards will be placed on each side of the car. Car Numbers The car’s number must appear on both number boards, using decals supplied by the series. The car’s number must appear on the hood, using decals supplied by the competitor. The number must be at least 10” high with a min. 1” stroke, in a contrasting color, centered on the hood. Hawk Decals Each car shall have two decals, on both sides of the car, positioned on the rocker panels behind the Series decals Sunoco Decals Each car shall have two decals, on both sides of the car, positioned on the rocker panels behind the Hawk decals BFGoodrich Tires Decals Each car shall have two decals, on both sides of the car, positioned on the rocker panels behind the Series decals MAZDASPEED Decals Each car shall have two 26 inch MAZDASPEED decals. One must be centered on the front fascia above the Mazda emblem, the other centered on the rear bumper. Mazda Decals Two 22 inch Mazda decals shall be placed on the car, one on either side of the car, centered above the rear wheel arches. In Car Cameras Cars chosen to carry in-car cameras for television must have Mazda, tire sponsor and series logos visible in the camera view front and rear. Other sponsor logos may also be visible provided they do not interfere with the specified series decals. The car’s number must appear on the bumper, using decals supplied by the competitor. The number must be at least 6” high with a min. 0.5” stroke in a contrasting color. SCCA Pro Racing Decals Four Pro Racing decals shall be placed on the car. One decal shall be centered on the front fascia, below the Mazda emblem. Two decals shall be placed on the sides of the car, one on either side, at the front of the rocker panel. One decal shall be placed on the left side of the rear fascia. MX-5 Cup Series Decals Each car shall have two decals, on both sides of the car, positioned on the rocker panels behind the SCCA Pro Racing decals.
