Rehavia, established in the 1930’s in the core of the Capital is located between Nahlaot on the north, Shaarey Hessed on the west, and Talbia and Kiriyat Shmuel on the south. Preserving Authenticity Richard Kauffman, the renowned Jewish-German architect planned Rehavia as a garden city connected by narrow, quiet pathways and roads. The lively commercial streets he cleverly placed on the edges of the neighborhood. A special atmosphere, reminiscent of the Jewish Golden Age in Spain exists in the neighborhood because the streets bear the names of poets and religious leaders of that era. The residential project will be constructed on Shderot Ben Maimon, named after the Rambam (born in Spain 1138-1204). The Rambam, one of the greatest sages in Jewish history, not only interpreted Jewish law but was also among the greatest philosophers and scientists of his time.
