Subject to design changes POLYTEX Switzerland 620e-599 Automatic sample mounting machine High flexibility and tremendous production rate One single machine for 3 different collection types: Colour cards with folded or flat stepped «waterfall» samples, free hanging «waterfall» collections and vertically stepped hanger collections. The production rate of up to 1’350 swatches at 550 mm length per hour results in a tremendous productivity of – up to 6’750 hanger collections at a length of 110 mm or – up to 17’500 flat stepped or folded «waterfall» samples at 40 mm width. This means not less than 15 times higher output in colour cards compared to manual sample production. At a constant and maximum precision from the first to the last sample of course! «FX» Efficient heater The three-part heating element which activates the heat-seal glue on the backing materials can be adjusted gradually, depending on the swatch size which is to be glued. Thermostats guarantee a precise and constant heating temperature. POLYTEX heat-seal backing materials We do strongly recommend to use only the wellknown and proven POLYTEX heat-seal backing materials to ensure a highest possible production output and to avoid any possible harm to the machine or the sample collections due to the use of no-name backing material. (Details on POLYTEX backing materials to be taken from the price list no. 605e). Hanger collections The special attachment for hanger collections consists of up to 5 top and bottom roll holders. The separately adjustable heating elements of the top roll holders allow an efficient production of hanger collections. Automatic cutting device Once the swatches are glued onto the heat-seal paper strip, this automatic cutting device allows you to produce up to 5 hangers simultaneously by cutting the swatches length-and cross-wise down to the desired size. After cutting, these hangers get placed onto a feeler sample and are finally stapled into a hanger cap by means of our multiple stapler «SE». Easy programming The user is guided through a dialogue-type program which assists him in creating a new collection in a few easy steps in next to no time. The programmable memory allows to save up to 100 different collections for a quick recall at a later stage. Avoiding mistakes A wrong colour sample placed on the wrong spot of a collection is every sample-maker’s nightmare. The consequences of wrong orders and deliveries due to such mistakes can heavily affect existing business relations and normally do end-up in a loss of money and, even worse, in a bad image. Compared with the manual production of these collections the clearly defined work-steps such as laying-up and grosscutting the fabrics in the desired sequence of colours, cutting the stacks on POLYTEX sample cutting and pinking machines, the automatic pickup and placing of the swatches on the backing material minimizes this well-known possible source of error. POLYTEX Switzerland Sequence of operations • Samples are cut into stacks on the pinking machine and loaded into the magazine by means of a loading device. • The machine performs the following operations automatically: – picking-up samples from the magazine – folding the samples – lining up regularly spaced – glueing on endless paper (Optional: – cutting the hanger length-wise and/or crosswise). • Cut the waterfalls/hangers to the desired size and glue them onto sample cards or stapled into hanger caps. 620e-599
