over to UKLED’s range of retrofit LED Lighting. As will be seen, significant savings can be made
- both from a fiscal point of view and environmental view - through the reduction of your carbon
footprint.

Sample Report
UKLED have a whole range of LED lighting solutions. Our LED products are the brightest on the
market, offering, for the first time, usable levels of general lighting. New generation LED’s
generate 3 to 5 times more light than previous LED technology and have energy savings of up to
90%, when compared against traditional lighting technology.
UKLED’s products are manufactured to be retrofit products, which install with the least amount
of disruption possible. All of our products have undergone extensive testing and certification to
ensure they meet stringent standards and have the longest life possible.
With average service life of up to 50,000 hours, LED lamps are perfect for hard-to-reach and
maintain fixtures. Besides reducing maintenance, they substantially extend bulb replacement
cycles, further cutting costs. LEDs reach full brightness almost instantly unlike compact
fluorescents that can take more than minute to achieve their maximum output.
Existing lighting technologies are omni-directional and require external, inefficient reflectors to
focus the light they emit. LED lighting is by its nature a directional light source, so that light is
used efficiently and distributed to exactly where it is needed.
Enhanced Capital Allowances
White LED Lighting is now on the Government’s Energy Technology List, so that all our LED
replacement products qualify for Enhanced Capital Allowances (for non leasing arrangements),
enabling companies to write off this capital expenditure in the first year.
Carbon Trust Funding
The Carbon Trust in partnership with Siemens Finance is able to provide CAPEX funding, under
a leasing arrangement, to businesses of all sizes both in the public and private sectors, allowing
projects to be funded on a cashflow positive basis. An optimum funding solution is included in
this report and can be arranged by your UKLED Lighting Consultant.
SMEs in Wales and Northern Ireland continue to have access to 0% CAPEX loan funding for
their projects.
Secondary Saving Benefits
With the extended life span of LED Lamps, there are significant savings to be made with
reduced maintenance and lamp replacement costs. Other secondary benefits include reductions
in air conditioning costs due to the significantly reduced heat generated by LED lamps.
Reduced Deterioration of Cabling and Fittings
With a significant reduction in electrical current draw from LED lights, wiring and electrical
fittings will suffer less from deterioration and hence last longer.

LED Lighting Warranty
UKLED Ltd (hereafter referred to as UKLED) is pleased to provide the
following warranty to each purchaser of LED lamp or tube lights directly from
it.
Warranty
UKLED warrants that all LED lamp or tube lights supplied by it shall be free
from defects for the warranty period set forth below. An LED lamp or tube
light is deemed for the purposes of this warranty to have a "defect" if it totally
fails or if the light emission falls to lower than 70% of the initial lumens
specified.
The warranty period for each of UKLED's LED lamp or tube lights is 3 Years
from the date of installation or the period until that light has had 30,000 hours
of usage, whichever period ends first. (For the purposes of this warranty,
unless actual hours of usage can be proved by the purchaser, the number of
hours of usage shall be deemed to be the number of hours in which the
premises in which the relevant lamp or tube lights were installed were open
for business or used for business (or other intended purpose) in the period
from installation until failure.)

UKLED shall replace any of UKLED’s LED lamp or tube lights that are found
to be in breach of the above warranty during the warranty period.
This warranty covers the replacement of an LED lamp or tube light but not
any associated costs of installation or maintenance.
Terms and Conditions
The foregoing warranty on LED tube lights is given subject to the following
conditions:1.
It is only given to, and enforceable by, the direct purchaser of the relevant
tube lights from UKLED and cannot be assigned without the prior written
consent of UKLED;
2.
It only applies if: UKLED has received full payment for the relevant lamp or tube light;
 UKLED has received a completed, signed certificate of installation (in
the form required by it) certifying inter alia date of purchase and
installation of the relevant lamp or tube light, within 30 days of first
installation of that lamp or tube light;
 the claim is notified to UKLED within 30 days of the defect in the
relevant lamp or tube light coming to the notice of the said direct
purchaser;
 after a claim on the warranty is made, on request of UKLED , the
relevant lamp or tube lights are returned to UKLED, unaltered, to
enable it to examine the said tube lights to determine the cause of the
defect and patterns of usage (and provided that UKLED shall also be

entitled to enter the premises where the relevant lamp or tube lights
were used to inspect where and how the lights were used); and
 the relevant lamp or tube lights are correctly wired, installed and used
(including in terms of electrical values and environmental conditions,
including temperature and humidity, in which they are operated and
used) in accordance with the Vendor's instructions, specifications
and manuals issued from time to time;
It does not apply where a defect in an LED lamp or tube light is caused by: act of God or accidental damage or malicious damage or any abuse,
misuse, abnormal use, or use in violation of any applicable standard,
code or instructions for use or failure to follow instructions or
recommendations from UKLED or the manufacturer in relation to
storage, installation, environment or maintenance; or
 the installation of the relevant LED lamp or tube light or the supply of
electricity to it or any modifications made to it by anyone other than
UKLED.
This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty given by UKLED. Otherwise
UKLED gives no warranties and makes no representations regarding the LED
lamp or tube lights supplied by it including as to their quality or performance,
except as required by relevant law. In particular without limitation no
warranty or representation of, or term or condition relating to, merchantability
or fitness for a particular purpose in relation to the LED lamp or tube lights is
made or is to be implied.
Provided UKLED replaces a defective LED lamp or tube light in accordance
with this warranty statement, UKLED shall have no further liability
whatsoever for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising from such defect,
except where the defect was caused by its negligence or wilful default.
Moreover the foregoing does not affect UKLED’s liability for death or
personal injury caused by its negligence, for which its liability shall be
unlimited.

To Make a Warranty Claim
Please retain the failed products and notify your UKLED sales representative within
thirty (30) days of becoming aware of the failure.
All sales of LED lamp or tube lights by UKLED are made subject to UKLED’s
standard terms and conditions of sale, a copy of which has been provided to the
purchaser by UKLED
