Memphis & Nashville
Music is one of Tennessee's major traditions and attractions. Memphis holds the title
"Birthplace of the Blues". Nashville hosts more than a hundred recording studios, and
is famous as the “Country Music Capital of the World”. From Elvis Presley to the
Grand Ole Opry, from blues to bluegrass to country, music is an integral part of the
soul and sound of Tennessee. Travel down “Music Highway” between these two
great Southern cities of the USA.
Day 1
Welcome to the Musical State of Tennessee !!!!
We suggest you arrive and depart at
Memphis International Airport, where you will
be met at the airport by one of our multilingual American Gentry Inc. partner guides
who will greet you and your guests and assist
with the transfer and check-in at your
selected hotel in downtown Memphis, right on
the Mighty Mississippi River.
Enjoy some free time to relax or wander
around to get acclimated with the area. Our
guide will accompany your group to one of
Memphis‟ local Southern restaurants for your first evening dinner event, on infamous
Beale Street. We will have no problem finding the perfect venue to suit your budget, and the
specific desires of your group. One thing is for sure - We will waste no time in getting
right to the music!
Day 2
After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, our guide will meet your group in the hotel lobby, for a
tour of the Memphis area, and Elvis‟ Graceland.
Our experienced tour guide will help you
discover the highlights of this historical city. In
Downtown Memphis we will roll down the
"Mighty" Mississippi River and then see Beale
Street in the daylight hours, to Cotton Row,
then over to Victorian Village where there are
still homes which were constructed in the early
1800‟s. (that‟s a long time ago as far as the
USA is concerned!)
We‟ll also visit the Lorraine Motel, site of Dr. Martin Luther King‟s assassination in
1968. There is also the Civil Rights Museum which we can visit.
From there we will show you Sun Studios-Birthplace of
Rock & Roll, where many of music‟s greatest legends got
their start and recorded their hits, including Elvis Presley,
Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis – just to name a few.
“Goodness, Gracious, Great Balls of Fire…!!”
We will enjoy lunch at one of Memphis‟ restaurants with
an inviting view of the Mississippi River, and then head
just a few miles away for an afternoon at Graceland – The home and final resting
place of Elvis Presley- “The King of Rock & Roll”
This National Historic Landmark encompasses over 13
acres of land. We will tour the home which is offered
on headsets, and available in many languages. Guests
can go at their own pace as they explore the rooms of
this home and its grounds. It is the final resting place
of Mr. Presley, his parents and grandmother who are
buried in the Meditation Garden.
We will return to the hotel for a little free time before walking
to dinner at the most famous restaurant in Memphis –it may
not be „the fanciest place in town‟ but no one leaves
displeased, and everyone will have a fantastic time. Memphis
is known for it‟s world-famous BBQ and we know just where
to get it…… The wait staff here is completely „on the ball‟, and
most have worked here for 20-30 years!!
After dinner, let‟s go kick it up back on Beale Street where you will find many
entertainment options, all with the best live music this side of the Mississippi River !!
We will be happy to set the group up with front row seats and drink packages at the
best place in town…..! Option: 30 miles south of Memphis we will find Tunica, the „mini Las
Vegas of the South‟, offering first class hotels, dining, entertainment shows and 24 hour
gaming action – everything you would find in Vegas! Stay an extra day and “play in Tunica”!
Day 3
After a hearty breakfast at your hotel and checkout, we will meet in the lobby and board our
motorcoach for a 3.5hr ride down the “Music
Highway” to Nashville, Tennessee. We will arrive
at the hotel of your choice located in the downtown
area and have a little free time to explore the
surrounding sites. Our guide will accompany your
group to one of Nashville‟s great restaurants for your
first evening dinner event. We will have no problem
finding the perfect venue to suit your budget, and the
specific desires of your group.
Again - We will waste no time in getting right to the music – this time Country Music!
Nashville offers an array of restaurants, nightclubs
and interesting shops which will find on Second
Avenue.
This evening we will dine and enjoy the experience of
a real Country & Western Dance Club. Get your

street.
