Tomten byr på utsikt mot syd og vest like til havs.
En-etasjes vinkelhus er plassert i rekke og
terrengfallet forsterkes i snittet. Slik oppnåtr alle
boligene utsikt.
Takformen er valgt for å bringe sollys ned i
uteplassen og inn i nordvendte rom.
Høydeforskjellen gjør at alle uteplassene blir
innkiksfrie.
Anna og Jostein Molden fikk Treprisen i 1981, bl.a.
på grunn av dette prosjektet.

The site offers a view towards the south and west
all the way to the ocean. One-storey L-shaped
houses are built in a row, with a drop in the
terrain from house to house. This gives all the
houses a view.
The roof is designed to bring sunlight down to
the outside area and into the rooms facing north.
The difference in height produces outside areas
that are private and sheltered.
Anna and Jostein Molden were awarded the
“Trepris” (a prize for good architecture in wood)
in 1981, partly due to this project.
