Halvorsen Offshore is a multidisciplinary supplier
of MMO projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.
We are a prequalified supplier to major operating
companies such as Statoil, ConnocoPhillips, BP,
Total and others.

KANFA-TEC
KANFA-TEC is a world leading supplier of Waste
Heat Recovery Units (WHRU), Heat Recovery Steam
Generators (HRSG) and Once Through Steam
Generators (OTSG) for the oil and gas industry,
predominately for fixed and floating offshore
installations.
We deliver tailor-made solutions to fit into limited space
available, according to a wide range of
project specifications, with the right quality and at
the right time.
KANFA-TEC also provides increased energy efficiency
for our clients by delivering steam generating heat
recovery concepts for offshore combined cycles and
steam injection in gas turbines.

MOTECH HALVORSEN GROUP
The people at ERC are experts in process and
hydraulic systems, control systems, air oil separators,
water treatment/RO, fuel injection and lube oil modules
for gas turbines.
Motech delivers steel structure manufacturing and
assembly, machine part manufacturing and speciallydesigned, customised machines, pressure vessels and
waste heat recovery units including skids.
The company focuses on engineering, production,
testing and support of advanced technologies in these
fields. ERC also manufactures tailor-made solutions
within these areas.
The Motech plant manufactures 2,000-2,500 metric
tons of steel structure per year, and is known for its
quality, reliability and trustworthiness. Motech is the
main manufacturer for Halvorsen Group’s projects.
Halvorsen Group is an international corporation with a
proud history. We have grown into a group of specialist
technology companies with a young workforce and
motivated employees.
ERC has been involved in projects all over the world
and in conjunction with such industries as: offshore,
subsea installations, ro-ro ships, aluminium extrusion
plants, aluminium smelters, water transport, gas turbine
systems, ship building industries, depot plants and
bio-gas plants.
Motech has two separate production plants; one
machining plant and one steel structure production
facility with a total of 16,000 square metres of factory
space on a 42,000 square metre property. Close to
210 people work at the Motech plant in Hungary.
Our history dates back to 1842 when Halvor Sørensen
opened a ship repair yard in South Norway. In 1929,
the company embarked upon the production of boilers
and these remained the core products for the company
for some time. In recent years, the company has grown
both larger and broader.
In recent years, ERC has increased its focus on the
offshore industry.
