IMPORTANT REMINDER TO NATIONAL TEAMS:
PADDLERS DRESS FOR ICF COMPETITIONS
After having observed paddlers dress used in ICF competitions over some time we wish to
emphasise the requirements for these competitions, and we wish to make it clear that paddlers will
not be allowed to the start unless the requirements are followed reminding you that next event
will be the World Championships in Oklahoma.
It is compulsory for ALL paddlers racing in ICF events to wear their national costume so
the spectators can understand their position in the race.
The requirement is limited to the paddlers’ top.
All members of the team MUST wear the SAME design of top with the same colour and
country identification (logo or country name/abbreviation).
The design of the national top must be sent by the national federations entering for the
Championships to the event organisers together with the numerical entries 45 days
before the event (August 12, 2014) who will include this design in the final information.
The design information must be in the form of a drawing or photo with colours clearly
showing the exact design.
REMINDER TO CLASSIC RACE ORGANISERS:
EXTENDED DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS
The deadline for submission of events for the 2015 ICF Classic Series was 31st August 2014, but
since only a limited numbers of submissions have been received the deadline has been extended to
the 20th September 2014.
STATUS OF ENTRIES FOR THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Below is the status of entries for the World Championships per 30th August. The requirement for a
class to be approved as a World Championships class is entries from 6 national federations.

Presently, some classes do not meet the requirement (marked red), but since the time limit for
nominal entries is 12th September we do not have the precise numbers. Marked with blue are
numerical entries, and if they are all confirmed by the time limit all classes will meet the
requirement. However, that remains to be seen and if a class does not meet the requirement
unfortunately that race will have to be cancelled.
