Wedding vows don't have to be the same old traditional words
today. Make your vows a little more personal and more meaningful because they're coming from your heart.
When I was looking for wedding vows for our renewal ceremony, I looked all over the Web. And while I found some very
interesting words of love and devotion, what I found I needed
to do was take what I liked best from a few different samples
and incorporate them into the vows my husband and I would
repeat to each other.
You can do the same thing too! Just look around for a wide variety of different vow samples then add your own personal
touch to them; change a
word or phrase, move a
phrase or even remove a
phrase. Pull phrases from
one set of samples and
add them to others to
make a complete set of
vows that say what you
want to say.
So whether you're renewing your vows or you just want something a little less traditional, here are some sample wedding vows that will get you
started.
Feel free to use them as they are or reword them to fit your occasion.

As long as we both shall live.
