Nonetheless every character should put on some clothes if he doesn’t want to run naked through the wasteland. Exoskeleton An Exoskeleton can be used together with normal armor and increases the wearer’s payload. Only an armored super-heavy Exoskeleton enables the use of heavy weapons like Heavy Machine Guns, Grenade Machine Guns, Miniguns and Cannons. With smaller Exoskeletons the wearer is unable to use these weapons. Exoskeletons cannot be used together with a Panzer Suit. Armor provides protection from the different damage types and also can increase resistances. A character can wear 3 different pieces of armor: Helmet, body armor, and arm/leg protection. The armor values of these pieces of armor are added together. Armor The name of the armor. Panzer Suit A Panzer Suit is a massive powered armor. It is hermetically sealed and protects the whole body (in game terms: Head, Torso, Arms and Legs). Components of a Panzer Suit, e.g., the helmet, cannot be replaced with another piece of armor, e.g., another helmet. It’s also not possible to use a Panzer Suit together with an Exoskeleton. Sa m Weight Indicates the weight of the armor. The appendix „Blk“ (Bulky) means that this piece of armor does not fit into the inventory because it’s too big. This piece of armor cannot be carried in the backpack. It can only be carried along if the character puts it on. Upgr Indicates the number of possible upgrades, which can be attached to the piece of armor. They also can be removed again. Upgrades can only be attached to body armors. Value Indicates the value of the piece of armor in NDM. 42 A Panzer Suit increases the payload of the wearer and enables the use of heavy weapons like Heavy Machine Guns, Grenade Machine Guns, Miniguns and Cannons. Without a Panzer Suit the wearer is unable to use these weapons. A Panzer Suit has no STR requirement, because the suit is powered and self-supporting. A Panzer Suit slows down the speed of the wearer. If someone wearing a Panzer Suit is shot at, he is treated as if he is not in movement even if he’s walking around. It is impossible to administer an injector, apply a bandage, or use a wound powder/salve on someone who’s wearing a Panzer Suit. The wearer is also unable to eat or drink or sleep. To do so he has to leave the Panzer Suit first. The only healing option available to a Panzer Suit is an automated injector unit, available as an upgrade. It works just like a normal injector.
