24 participants from African countries. Organised by the SCIH Systems Support
Unit (SySU), the course focused on the development of a transfer project
proposal based on the log frame approach, integrating knowledge and skills

Quality Training in Romania
The SRHU took part in facilitating the final conference of the EU funded quality
management (QM) training program in Romania. The conference was well
attended and participants reported on their experience with continuous quality
improvement projects in their hospitals. With this project, CRED (Romanian-Swiss
Centre for Health Sector Development established in 2004 by the SCIH) has
extended its network of partners from professional groups (neonatologists,
obstetricians) to hospital managers nationwide. CRED is currently developing a Neonatal ward in Romanian hospital
