SMID (NJ Staff Member Identifier). A unique 8-digit number assigned by NJ DOE issued by
NJ SMART. (Approved Private Schools also get SMID.)
Must be official school-issued email address. Do not use personal e-address.
District or School codes. (the numeric CDS codes, no spacing, no hyphenation)
• for District (DT), use your CountyDistrict codes (“CCDDDD”)
• for School (SCH), use your CountyDistrictSchool codes (“CCDDDDSSS”).
Enter "DT" or "SCH". Meaning the User's access level, District or School.
[Not Required. by DLM] The student's State Assessment Accountable school district;
district who applied for the SID for the student. (in APA term: the Sending)
The New Jersey district in which the student resides; Home district/where student lives.

Leading zero not allowed (G3-9 use one character. DLM update 9/24/2014)
LID. Assigned by local school district unique for each student in the district. Districts must
assign the Local Identification Number for each student in order to receive a State
Identification Number (SID).
SID. A 10-digit unique numeric code assigned by the state (NJ DOE), generated and
obtained via NJ SMART. Will not start with a leading zero. (for details

Attendance_School_Program_Identifier Attending school. When there is a sending/receiving relationship, the Receiving school
may often be the same as the Attending School. DLM does not have out-of-state
code/flag. If student attends out-of-state facility, the student should be coded in the NJ
district/school he/she would test (attend).

9/16/14 KITE Support: The school where the student scores will be included of home
