Welcome to Elite Fine Arts and thank you for your interest! We are very excited that you
have chosen to join the “cream of the cream!” Our mission is to give the student, whether
beginner or advanced a place to SHINE! It is our goal to always keep our students’
interests and welfare in mind. It is also our intent to lead, teach, and create with our
hearts!
Anything worth doing takes discipline and dedication. In order to maintain a high
standard we must insist that parents and students abide by the following policies.

Attendance:
In order to take full advantage of dance education, regular attendance is crucial. Make up lessons
are available in a suitable class, so please inquire in The office. Regular classes are 55 mins in
length. Attendance is taken. Please be on time. If a student is tardy they may be asked to sit and
observe class. Please call if there is a problem with attendance or tardiness. There are no refunds
for missed classes.

Dress Code:
When you dress professionally you act accordingly. It is PARENTS responsibility to make sure their
dancer is properly dressed for class. If your dancer is not in dress code they will be asked to sit and watch
class.
STUDIO COLORS: Black, Grey, White, Orange, Burgundy, and Yellow.

Pink or Black Leotard
Pink, Black, or Tan tights
Pink Leather Ballet Shoes (not satin slippers)
Black Tap shoes (Ballet and Tap shoes can be found at Payless)
Hair in pony tail
All Level 1 HIP HOP, JAZZ, AND TAP CLASSES
Black or burgundy Leotard, or any studio color sports bra top, or any studio color cami top.
Black, pink or tan tights
Any color dance shorts
Tan Jazz shoes, black lace up tap shoes (oxford), and black hip hop shoes (dance sneakers).
Plain T-shirts in studio colors for Hip Hop only!
Hair in pony tail or bun. OFF FACE.
JAZZ, CONTEMPORARY, TAP, HIP HOP 2 and up
Black or Burgundy Leotard, any studio color cami or plain T-shirt, or studio color bra top
Any color booty dance shorts.
Black leggings, or pink, tan, or black tights. (must have legs covered to knees).

Student/Parent Lounge
Lounge is for Members only. No friends permitted.
All Food and Drinks are to be kept and eaten in lounge. Students must respect
Lounge property -CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF! Breaking Lounge rules means
being banned for a set period of time. No smoking of any kind in or around Elite's
building.

Drop off/Pick up
Please be on time to pick your child. A late fee will be posted for anyone
picking up their child late after 9:00 pm. Be Conscientious.
Please arrive a few minute early for class. Adhere to the class schedule. Tell your children to wait
inside until picked up. Make sure they know who is picking them up. In case of an emergency,
please inform the office staff that you are running late or that pick up plans have changed. Your
child's safety is a great concern however we are a teaching facility and are not responsible for
children who are waiting before and after class.

Class Assistants
Well trained student assistants help warm up and demonstrate skills for classes. If an assigned
teacher is ill or away, a substitute teacher will be assigned to that class. This
substitute may be a regular class teacher or a student teacher.

Tuition
Tuition is based on a yearly contract. There are 3 payment options available.
There is no prorating tuition.
l. You can finance the year into monthly payments -tuition is divided into equal
payments that are consistent whether there are 3,4, or 5 class weeks in a month.
Payment is due the 1st of each month AUGUST-JUNE For using this payment option there is
a security fee of $40.00 due at the time of sign up and deducted from your June or final
payment.
2. You can pay your tuition in full by October 1 and receive a 10% discount. A 15% deposit is
due at the time of signups..
3. You can make 3 installments due: August (4 months), December (4 months), and April (3
months). There is a $20.00 security fee for using this payment option due at sign up and
deducted from June or final payment.

No monthly statements are sent. You are welcome to set up an automatic payment to Elite
through your financial institution.
Payments options at this time are: cash, check, visa, master card.
*A $15 late fee will be posted on tuition received after the 15th of the month.
*A $15 fee will be posted on accounts with returned checks.
*A $15 flat fee will be posted on accounts with costume balances after January 15th.
If an account falls 2 months behind, classes for that student will be suspended until account is
brought up to date.

If you are dropping a class in the middle of the month, your tuition will be adjusted the following
month. If you are canceling your contract you must give 30 days notice via written statement or
phone call to the office staff 941-235-1441.

All missed lessons can be made up please see the office staff to set up an appropriate make up
time.
!
There are no refunds for registration or tuition for any reason. If your child is asked to leave due
to bad behavior- no refund of tuition. No dropping in and out of tuition.
!
AFTER DECEMBER 1st NO COSTUME $$ WILL BE REFUNDED.
CLASS CHOICES ARE FINAL AFTER DECEMBER 1st – AS COSTUMES ARE
BEING ORDERED AT THAT TIME. Any student wishing to perform with Elite must
enroll and maintain their classes no later than November 1st.

1 class per week: $38.00
5 classes per week: $144.00
2 classes per week: $66.00
6 classes per week: $170.00
3 classes per week: $94.00
7 classes per week: $190.00

Unlimited: $200.00
Martial Arts: $40.00 per month (2 classes a week) $30.00 per month (1 class a week)

180 minute block: $110.00
Company members: $15.00 monthly
Private lessons: $50.00/hour - $30/ ½ hour – Semi private: $30.00 per student

Showcase & Costumes
Class choices must be made and finalized by December 1st.
Recital date are TBA in June (usually the 3rd week) and held at North Port Performing Arts
Center. A recital fee of $45.00 per child is due on April 1st. This fee includes 2 tickets and a
recital T-shirt.
Whoever has not paid recital fee at the time tickets go on sale “2 recital fee tickets” will be
chosen for you in the balcony section of the theater.

A professional DVD of the performance will be available for your purchase.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE
Costumes for Showcase will be ordered in December 2014. We estimate a fee of $85-95 per
costume per class. You have 2 options for costume payments- you must pick one:
Option 1: make 5 equal payments for estimated balance starting with September 1st , Oct 1st ,
Nov 1st, Dec 1st, Jan 1st. All Costume balances must be paid by January 1st. Option 2: make a
$45.00 deposit for each class your child participates in. Remaining balance due January 1st.
Once a costume is ordered you are responsible for payment for that costume.
Please let us know if your child is NOT going to perform in our Showcase. Please remember
tights, shoes, and any special accessories are not included in the costume price.

Holidays and Closures
Elite will follow the school system calendar and will be closed on MAJOR school holidays
including: Thanksgiving week, Winter Break, Spring Break, and Memorial Day. Please check
bulletin boards for any other special closings. When the county schools close for weather
emergencies, example: Hurricanes, Elite will also close. Please call the office for emergency
messages and look for emergency emails.

Elite reserves the right to refuse service to any potential or current customer,
Please Read/Behavior
Unfavorable behavior is grounds for dismissal without refund of tuition. These behaviors include
but are not limited to:
*disrespect towards teachers, staff, and/or
*being 2 months behind in tuition
fellow students
*stealing
*foul language
*destroying Elite property
*repeatedly failing to follow dress code

Handouts and Newsletters
We try very hard to communicate with our members so that you are informed and in the
“know!” Please help us help you! OPEN YOUR EMAILS. Please make sure we have
your current email address. Parents are responsible for reading - especially if classes are
missed. Please come in and be a parent who participates in your child’s dance education.

Elite Fine Arts Academy is in our 7th season and thanks to you the future is bright!
Put away any preconceived ideas and previous experiences. The sky is the limit! We
take our job very seriously! If your child wishes to pursue a career in the performing
arts field…We want to give your child every advantage.
