Be sure to read through the entire manual carefully before beginning installation.
Read all warnings and precautions carefully and follow safety procedures
Each Seizmik product has a “difficulty-to-install” rating based on the following:

Easy – uses basic hand tools and does not require any modifications to the existing structure of
your vehicle. Most Seizmik products fall into this category. Hey, why be difficult?
Skilled – requires a little more skill to install properly. May require modifications to the vehicle
(drilling, electrical, etc.) as well as the use of power tools.
Difficult – May require welding or extensive mechanical work for proper installation. Hardly any
Seizmik products fall into this category but we had to say it.
Watch for the following symbols:

CAUTION - indicates an installation or operational step or procedure that if

Installation Instructions:
1.
Install the Seizmik Brush Guard. –
Have a friend hold the brush guard
(G) in place while you slide the 1.0”
dia. tube clamps (K) in place over
the middle tube of the OEM
bumper, as shown in Figure 1.
Secure each one in place with one
of the 3/8” x 2.25” bolts (N), two
3/8” washers (Q), and one 3/8”
nylock nut (R). Repeat at the top
tube of the OEM bumper using the
1.5” dia. tube clamps (J), and 3/8” x
1.75” bolts (O).

Mounting brackets – Attach the two
hood rack mounting brackets to the
mounting pads of the brush guard,
as shown in Figure 2. Use four of the
3/8” x 1.0” bolts (P), eight 3/8”
washers (Q), and four 3/8” nylock
nuts (R) per mounting pad. Snug
down the fasteners but do not fully
tighten them yet.

Crush sleeves – Insert a
crush sleeve (B) into
each cantilever arm
assembly (C & D), as
shown in Figure 3.

Cantilever arms – Position
the Driver side cantilever arm
(C) on the mounting bracket,
and insert a 3/8” dia. pivot
bolt (M), as shown in Figure
4. Add a 3/8” washer (Q)
and nylock nut (R) on the
other side and snug down
the assembly; leave the
fasteners loose enough so
the components can be
repositioned for fitment.
Repeat this step for the
passenger side.

Lock pins – Insert the 1/2” lock pins
(Y) into the tabs on each side of the
Brush Guard, fixing the cantilever
arms in place, as shown in Figure
5.

Hood Rack – Lay
the rack (F) on the
cantilever arms, as
shown in Figure 6.
Slide a 3/8”x 2.25”
bolt (N) through
each of the rear
mounting
points,
and secure with a
3/8” washer (Q)
and 3/8” nylock nut
(R) on the other
side. Place a rack
mounting clamp (L)
over each front
mounting
point.
Slide a 1/4" bolt (V)
through each bolt
hole, and secure
with a 1/4" washer
(W) and 1/4" nylock
nut (X) on the other
side.

down the assembly.

Light guards – Attach the driver-side light guard (H), as shown in Figure 7, using two of the 5/16” x 2.25” bolts (S),
four 5/16” washers (T), and two 5/16” nylock nuts (U). Repeat for the passenger-side light guard.
8.
Finishing up – Tighten down all fasteners. To raise the rack for hood access, simply pull out the 1/2" lock pins and
swing the rack up and forward.

No riders should be allowed on this hood rack – serious injury/death can result.
This rack has a maximum weight limit of 150lbs – do not overload or damage to rack & load could
result.

ALWAYS follow all precautions and warnings from the manufacturer of your vehicle.
Your vehicle may handle differently with a heavy load on the hood rack. Drive slowly and
carefully.
Always load the hood rack evenly, with the heaviest items on the bottom and lightest items on top.
Always load the hood rack in such a way that your vision will be least obstructed while driving.
