Why would you set a computer to use Magnifier?
Save a copy of your working Virtual XP system
 Shutdown the XP virtual machine and close Virtual PC.
 Copy the configuration file and the disk file created by Virtual PC (it is located in the D: partition of your host machine) to
the Data partition (should be E:) of your host machine; this is where we saved the Ghost image of Drive C: back in an earlier
lab.
 Now that we’ve changed the Windows 7 installation (installed Virtual PC), if you’d like, you could create another Ghost
image of your C: drive to the Data partition. Follow the instructions from Lab 3 if needed. If you don’t do this and you have
a problem with your Windows 7 installation, you can restore from the older Ghost image and reinstall Virtual PC. You
would not need to reinstall XP as we have made a copy of the virtual configuration.
You now have a backup of your working system if anything happens to your C partition!!
