Warning
Always have Triumph approved parts, accessories and conversions fitted by a trained
technician of an authorised Triumph Dealer. The fitment of parts, accessories and
conversions by a technician who is not of an authorised Triumph dealer may affect the
handling, stability or other aspects of the motorcycles operation which may result in loss
of motorcycle control and an accident.
Warning
This accessory kit is designed for use on Triumph Speed Triple (1050cc) motorcycles only
and should not be fitted to any other Triumph model or to any other manufacturers
motorcycle. Fitting this accessory kit to any other Triumph model or to any other
manufacturers motorcycle, may interfere with the rider and could affect the stability and
handling of the motorcycle leading to loss of control and an accident.

Warning
Throughout this operation, ensure that the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately
supported to prevent risk of injury from the motorcycle falling.
NOTE
• Completely read all the instructions before commencing the installation and
set up of the accessory kit in order to become thoroughly familiar with the
accessory kit features and the installation process.
1.
Position the motorcycle on a paddock
stand.
2.
Remove the seat and disconnect the
battery, negative (black) lead first.
3.
Remove the two bolts shown from the
clutch cover. Use the bolts to secure the
right hand rear support bracket to the
clutch cover in the position shown.
Tighten to 9 Nm.

Remove the fixing securing the hose
guide to the engine. Remove the hose
guide and refit the fixing. Tighten the
fixing to 12 Nm.

Secure the right hand front support
bracket in the position shown using a
M8 x 14mm bolt from the kit. Tighten to
9 Nm.

• Retain the hose guide for use if the
motorcycle is returned to original
condition.

Secure the left hand rear support
bracket in the position shown using the
M6 x 20mm bolt from the kit. Tighten to
9 Nm.

Align the rear belly pan mounting holes
with the threaded holes in the rear
support brackets. Insert a spacer
between the mounting holes and the
brackets.
Secure the left hand front support
bracket in the position shown using a
M8 x 14mm bolt from the kit. Tighten
the bolt to 9 Nm.

Whilst supporting the belly pan in
position, fit two of the M6 x 21mm bolts
and washers through the belly pan
mounting holes into the front support
brackets. Do not tighten the bolts at
this stage.
10. Secure the belly pan and the spacers to
both rear mounting brackets with the
remaining M6 x 21mm bolts and
washers. Tighten to 3 Nm.
11. Tighten the front mounting bolts to 3
Nm.
12. Reconnect the battery, positive (red)
lead first.
13. Refit the seat and remove the
motorcycle from the paddock stand.

Warning
Failure to tighten any of the fasteners to the correct torque specification may result in loss of
motorcycle control and an accident.
Warning
After fitting this accessory kit the motorcycle will exhibit new handling characteristics. Operate the
motorcycle in a safe area free from traffic to gain familiarity with any new handling characteristics.
Operation of the motorcycle when not familiar with any new handling characteristics may result in loss
of motorcycle control and an accident
Warning
If, after fitment of this accessory kit, there is any doubt as to any aspect of the performance of the
motorcycle, contact an authorised Triumph dealer and do not ride the motorcycle until the authorised
dealer has declared it fit for use. Riding a motorcycle when there is any doubt as to any aspect of the
performance of the motorcycle may result in loss of motorcycle control and an accident.
Warning
Never ride an accessory equipped motorcycle (including those fitted with Triumph approved
windscreens and luggage systems) at speeds above 130km/h (80 m.p.h.).
The presence of accessories such as windscreens and luggage systems will cause changes in the
stability and handling of the motorcycle.
Failure to allow for changes in motorcycle stability may lead to loss of control or an accident.
Remember that the 130km/h (80 m.p.h.) limit will be reduced by the fitting of non-approved
accessories, incorrect loading, worn tyres, overall motorcycle condition and poor road or weather
conditions.
Warning
The motorcycle must not be operated above the legal road speed limit except in closed course
conditions.
