Vehicles with Ford C6 transmissions frequently exhibit troublesome issues including stacked upshifts, no kick-down,
poor line-pressure control, worn cases and direct-clutch
failure. The Sonnax oversized modulator-valve kit 3683301K allows you to salvage the case and effectively restore
normal shift operation, the company said.
Whatever It Takes now has available the solenoid for the
2005-up TF81SC torque-converter clutch. The solenoid
also fits the TF80SC, the company said.

Application-Specific ATF
Remanufactured Honda J35A V-6
Idemitsu application-specific automatic-transmission fluids
are engineered for the exact friction materials and pressure
settings of Honda, Mazda, Subaru and other import transmissions, including new CVT technologies, according to the
company. Idemitsu ATF uses the same lubricant technology
as that of the vehicle manufacturers and meets or exceeds
OE heat, wear, friction and extendeddrain
requirements.
Jasper Engines & Transmissions now is remanufacturing
the Honda J35A, a 3.5L SOHC V-6 engine with variable
valve timing. Applications are 2005-2010 Honda Odyssey
and 2006-2008 Honda Ridgeline and Pilot 4WD. The engine
includes all new timing components (tensioner, belt and
idlers), new water pump, oil pan and cam sensor. It is covered by Jasper’s threeyear/100,000-mile

Chrysler Bore-Sizing Tool
RE5R01A/5A Reverse-Brake Snap Ring
When used after reaming switch-valve plug bores in
Chrysler 41TE, 42LE, 42RLE, 45RFE, 545RFE, 62TE and
68RFE units, the new Sonnax bore-sizing tool 92835-BST2
provides exact bore sizing and superior surface finish in
preparation for the installation of the Sonnax oversized solenoid-switch-valve plug kit 92835-18K, according to the

Superior Transmission Parts offers a heavy-duty
SuperTuff® replacement snap ring for the reverse brake in
the RE5R01A/5A. The OE snap ring is very thin and narrow
and is prone to breakage, according to the company. Over
time the flexing and “bowing” effects distort the OE ring
and cause it to dish outward and pop out of the
groove. When this occurs

A4P Overhaul Kit
GM 6T70/75 4-5-6 Accumulator-Piston Kit
Corteco has introduced TransTec® overhaul kit DP2634 to
service the A4P RWD/AWD four-speed step transmission.
Vehicle applications include several Daihatsu, Subaru and
Toyota vehicles with three- or four-cylinder engines in
model years ranging from 2005 to 2014. Featured sub-kits
and components include a sealing-ring kit, Duraprene pan
gasket, converter-hub seal, manual-lever seal and extension-housing
seal, the company said.
The new Sonnax 4-5-6 accumulator-piston kit 124740-04K
corrects issues including ratio codes, harsh/delayed application of the clutch pack, burnt clutches and slipping/flares
in first-generation GM 6T70 and 6T75 transmissions, the
company said. Featuring an O-ring for positive sealing and
upgraded materials to protect against premature wear, the
kit is easy to install with no machining or special tools required.
Transmission Fluids
Honda/Acura/Saturn 5-Speed Valve-Body Upgrade
Kit
Transtar is now distributing Idemitsu vehicle-specific transmission fluids. The fluids are designed to OE specifications
and help prevent comebacks resulting from use of an incorrect fluid, the company said.

For a limited time, Transtar is offering a free fuel-tank
adapter with the purchase of a Sunex T7796 1/2-ton air
transmission jack (Transtar part number T7796). To receive

GM 6L90-E Intermediate Shaft
Honda MT4A Overhaul Kits
TCS Products has released the new 6L90-E Intermediate
Shaft as a strong and durable replacement for the problematic OEM shaft’s high rate of failure when high horsepower,
superchargers and turbos are used, the company said. TCS
has eliminated the hub damper and increased the contact
area between the hub and shaft by 300%. The shaft is a
100% drop-in product made from billet 300M alloy steel.
Whatever It Takes now offers a banner kit and a master kit
for the 2010-up Honda MT4A. The banner kit features
Raybestos GPX frictions. The master kit includes steel
plates, the company said.

machines, according to the company. The high-pressure, water-based
formula removes contaminants from
transmission coolers and lines, getting rid of grease, dirt, sludge and
metal shavings. It also inhibits the
return of foreign deposits (including
rust) and prevents the contamination
of new and rebuilt units. The flush
leaves no soapy residue and contains no CFCs or chlorinated solvents.
