Introduction
Dear Exhibitor,
Change and success go hand-in-hand. Through the years
ACOEP has grown and developed, adapting to the times,
responding to member input, and evolving. It is this spirit
of growth that inspired the name Emerge to be given to
our Spring and Fall conferences—a name embracing a
period of change, evolution, and maturation.
The journey of emergence has brought us to a precipice
in emergency medicine, a place of unforeseen challenges
and incredible opportunities. It’s this unique point that
inspires the new branding of all ACOEP conferences
under one bold heading: The Edge. This is more than a
name change and a new logo, The Edge is the inspiration
and the foundation upon which our educational
opportunities will be based.
We give our members an edge to overcome new challenges; embrace the cutting edge of new
technologies, opportunities and advancement; and journey together to the edge, generating
creative thoughts, solutions and lasting advancement.
With this concept as our cornerstone, we have also redeveloped our entire exhibiting and

The exhibit hall is the nerve center of the conference where attendees can visit the ACOEP
Registration and Information Desk, enjoy complimentary breakfast and wireless internet, and
relax in lounge areas. As an exhibitor you will have access to all of ACOEP’s attendees in this
informal, social setting that is specifically designed with the exhibitor’s interests in mind.

Each year that ACOEP travels to Las Vegas, our attendance sky rockets! It is a city built on
hospitality and as a result our conferences here are unparalleled! Already the largest annual
conference, The Edge: Scientific Assembly 2014 will offer hands-on training, intensive didactic
sessions, competitions, and will be capped off by the glittering 2014 FOEM Legacy Gala: Dinner &
Awards Ceremony.
This year is also the 35th anniversary of the Scientific Assembly, making this conference even
more spectacular! This October we will offer more surprises, events, and ways for our partners
to engage with our informed, energetic, and rapidly expanding membership!

A large number of residents and medical students attend Scientific Assembly. Sponsorship of

Breakfast is served in the exhibit hall every morning, kicking off a full-day of lectures and

Beverage Break Stations
Morning and afternoon coffee breaks are much-appreciated during a long day of lectures and
events. Beverage break stations are located in the exhibit hall, where sponsors will see
on-site signage as well as napkins with company logos. Sponsorship will also be

The FOEM Research Study Poster Competition is an engaging competition between students
and residents who present the results of detailed research projects. Sponsors of this event
will receive recognition on all pre-event marketing materials including multiple eblasts, social
media, flyers and letter; signage on-site including directional signs, the company logo on the
podium at the event, projected on the screen between presentations, in booklets distributed to
every attendee, winner certificates, in conference agendas; company information printed in The

case that they have encountered through their work. The sponsor’s logo will be posted on
