What's New in Toolbag 2?
Toolbag 2 remains true to what we know and love in Toolbag 1, while benefiting from a complete rewrite to bring
the latest and greatest in rendering techniques and next-generation shader standards. The release of the second
generation of Toolbag now brings physically accurate, GPU-powered, real-time rendering to OS X & Windows.
Toolbag 1 Users: Toolbag 1 remains fully supported, but it will no longer be available for new license purchases. If
you have any Toolbag 1 licensing needs or software questions, please let us know. If you need a fresh reinstall the
latest build of Toolbag 1 can be downloaded here: www.marmoset.co/toolbag/legacy
Licensing Terms & Pricing
All Toolbag 2 licenses are subject to the same terms; each and every license is authorized for personal,
commercial, and educational use. The Toolbag 2 End User License Agreement (EULA) is agreed to and included
with each installation of Toolbag 2 – the installer is freely available for download here. The complete Toolbag 2

*Note: If you wish to have additional purchased seats added to your existing Toolbag 2 Account ID (all seats
managed under one account) use the same email address upon checkout as you did with your previous license
purchase. Doing so will automatically add additional seats to your existing Account ID.

License Activation:
Licensing for Toolbag 2 is new and improved. No more hardware locking or messy Fingerprint ID management. No
local license server required either. All licenses of Toolbag 2 are activated per seat by signing in with your new
Marmoset Account ID. Upon purchase your email address used at checkout is assigned as your Marmoset Account
ID.
The new licensing system in Toolbag 2 requires (intermittent) internet access for each authorized seat, and
features a rolling license system, authorizing both Mac and Windows machines up to the purchased number of
seats for simultaneous use.
License Transfers:
In the event you reach your maximum number of allowable activations for your account, an activation attempt on
a new machine will prompt you to complete the auto-verification step via email. Each new seat authorized beyond
the max number of seats will remove authorization from the least recently used seat.
*Note: License authorizations will follow the rolling method. At this time it is not possible to do a 1-for-1 direct
license transfer from one machine to another.
Support Terms & Conditions:
All Toolbag users, trial or full, will receive complimentary email support and software updates for the product
lifetime of Toolbag 2, though trial periods will not be reset with each software update.
