BioLegend Acquires Covance Antibodies
BioLegend has acquired Covance’s antibody products business
unit, located in Dedham, Massachusetts. This unit includes
R&D and manufacturing of antibodies and research reagents
for Neuroscience, Immunopathology, Cell Biology, Epitope
Tags, and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Detection. These
products, including In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) antibodies for IHC,
complement and enhance the current selection of BioLegend
research reagents. Former Covance antibody customers can
expect the same superior customer support and exceptional
value with these products as existing BioLegend customers.
As neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration become
increasingly important topics, BioLegend is committed to the
advancement of discovery in neuroscience. With the addition
of a world-class R&D team and over 600 antibody products
for emerging and important targets in this field, BioLegend
is positioned to become a leader in neuroscience and
immunology research.

(MAFA) Antibody
C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes were stained with NK1.1
FITC and KLRG1 (clone 2F1/KLRG1) PE/Dazzle™ 594.
PMA + Ionomycin-stimulated (6 hours) human peripheral blood lymphocytes (in the presence of
monensin) were stained with CD3 FITC, fixed, permeabilized, and then stained with IL-17A (clone
BL168) PE/Dazzle™ 594 (left) or mouse IgG1, κ PE/Dazzle™ 594 isotype control (right).

antibody conjugates to bright, photostable fluors like Brilliant Violet 421™, Brilliant Violet 510™, and the Alexa Fluor® dyes. We
also provide cell tracking dyes and nuclear counterstains. We will continue to release new microscopy products as we discover
innovative technologies.
Alexa Fluor® 594 anti-human Granzyme A
Human PBMCs were fixed, permeabilized, and blocked. Next, cells were stained
with Granzyme A (clone CB9) Alexa Fluor® 594 (red), washed, then co-stained
with CD8 (clone HIT8a) Alexa Fluor® 488 (yellow) and CD56 (clone HCD56) Alexa
Fluor® 647 (green). Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue). The image was
captured by a 60X objective.

Brilliant Violet 510™ anti-human CD11c
Human peripheral blood mononuclear cell derived dendritic cells were fixed and
then stained with CD11c (clone 3.9) Brilliant Violet 510™ (yellow). Nuclei were
