New Recombinant Proteins

bioassays for your research.CD258,
also known as LIGHT, belongs to
the tumor necrosis factor (TNF)
superfamily. LIGHT can exist in
soluble form and stimulates T cell
proliferation, CTL activity, and Th1
cytokine production. High mobility
group box 1 protein (HMGB1), also
known as Amphoterin, can interact
with histones, transcription factors,
and nucleosomes in the nucleus when
not acetylated. Upon acetylation, it
translocates to the cytosol. HMGB1
can be secreted by several immune
cells during necrosis, apoptosis, and
pyroptosis. Epigen is a member
of the EGF family of proteins and
induces proliferation of epithelial cells,
endothelial cells, and keratinocytes.
Finally, fibroblast growth factor 17,
FGF-17, is important in brain, bone,
and vascular development.

New Alexa Fluor® 594 Antibodies
For multicolor fluorescence microscopy, bright fluorescence with little background is critical for specific detection
of antigens. Furthermore, directly labeled antibodies are essential, since the usage of secondary antibodies may be
limited when using multiple antibodies. We continue to support microscopy applications by releasing new, directly
conjugated Alexa Fluor® 594 antibodies for targets like Nestin, a survival factor for neural progenitor cells, and
CD107a, which is involved with lysosomal membrane protection.
Alexa Fluor® 594 anti-mouse CD107a (LAMP-1) Antibody
Alexa Fluor® 594 anti-Nestin Antibody
Thioglycolate-elicited BALB/c mouse peritoneal macrophages were fixed with 1% PFA and
blocked. Then the cells were stained with anti-mouse CD107a (clone 1D4B) Alexa Fluor®
594 (red) overnight at 4°C. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue). The image was
captured with 40X objective.
HUVEC cells were fixed with 1% PFA, permeabilized, and blocked. Then the cells were
stained with anti-human Nestin (clone 10C2) Alexa Fluor® 594 overnight, followed by
Alexa Fluor® 488 Phalloidin (green) staining for 20 minutes at 4°C. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue). The image was captured with 40X objective.
