ASSET BUILDING IDEAS FOR SENIOR CITIZENS
Asset # 13 – Neighborhood Boundaries
Neighbors take responsibility for monitoring young people’s behavior.
Get to know your neighbors – adults and youth.
Talk to other parents when you see their children being responsible or generous in their actions. Try
to find opportunities to praise more often than you report misbehavior.
Be a good neighbor! Be friendly, helpful and respectful.
Start a conversation with youth when you see them in the neighborhood.
