COZY CONVERSATIONS OCTOBER 2014 KIDS SAY THE FUNNIEST THINGS: 2’s: After Miss Tina said, “My hair is driving me nuts!” Jayden Faucher replied, “I can’t see any nuts!” Kinsey Vaske was talking on the play phone. She said, “Why did you hang up on me?” Miss Beth asked,”Who was that?” Kinsey replied, “Mommy! She keeps hanging up on me!” 3’s: When Miss Jo-Jo asked Jake, “How is that tomoato?” He said, “It’s like a little juice box!” Miss Amanda was putting Macie’s hair in a ponytail and Macie said, “It doesn’t hurt because I put the ‘air’ conditioning in!” issues with the day to day happenings of your children! We want you to always feel 100% comfortable with the care our staff is giving to your child. FLU SEASON WILL BE HERE SOON…Please see the last page regarding the Enterovirus. It just reminds us how important it is to teach children proper handwashing habits. We will do our part in trying to prevent illnesses from spreading rapidly. Please do the same at home. They really seem to be loving their new surroundings! To Jayden Faucher for doing so well on the potty! 3’s: Jake Meyers is doing a great job writing his name all by himself! 5’s: Congratulations to everyone for filling the kindness jar! The children are being very kind and helpful and we have filled the jar in record time! We had a wonderful celebration on Friday Oct. 3 rd! Ladder of Achievement: 2’s: Our new ‘young 2’s’ are settling in very nicely! Our older half is doing great with their colors & A,B,C’s! 3’s: Our entire class has been doing a great job at learning and writing their letters A,B & C. 4’s: Congratulations to Taylor Caron for starting to write her name in lower case letters. Great job to all the 4’s for doing such an amazing job with letters A – D and the sounds. Congratulations to Gabriella Wrisley, Addison Browning & Zachary Needham for remembering our ‘at family’ song, and for helping their friends to learn it as well! 2’s: Gently used books. 3’s: Stickers & gently used books. Misc. news from the infants & 1’s: Our infant & 1’s room is bursting with excitement and new faces these days! We welcome David Dane, Jaxson Jobbins, & Addison Carruthers! Each of them is doing great and we welcome each of them and their parents! Gina Fischer, Kelsey Babine & David Dane are progressing very well. Gina is sitting on her own and almost crawling. All of them are starting to roll, creep and crawl around the room as they need to get to those baby toys. MacKenzie Martin is really starting to use more words each day and Brody Murray has taken his first steps! Its been a busy few months but our teachers have thoroughly enjoyed caring for each of them and getting to know all our new friends!
