most of the confrontation that

concentrating on their studies
and graduating in record time
and avoid being used as agents
of discord and destruction. She
also stressed that the
Management of the University
was ever willing to work with
them when the right channel of
dialogue is followed.
“It is wrong to incite the
students against the
Management of the University. If
you have doubts, you are free to
ask questions and you will get
answers. Always remember that
you were admitted as a student
to graduate with good grades.
Read the University handbook
and know the regulations and
obey them”, she said.
The Registrar who was at
the event with some of her
deputy registrars, also urged the
SUG executives to promote the
singing of the University's
anthem.
The Deputy Registrar,
Information/Publications and
Protocol Unit of the University,
Sir Desmond Wosu, advised the
SUG not to run to the Press at
any slight opportunity but
rather seek solution through
dialogue.
Earlier, the SUG
President, Comrade Adee, Trust
Mene, said that the visit was part
of the familiarization tour by the
SUG to enable them forge a
closer tie with management
through positive interactions.
He commended the University's
administration for running an
uninterrupted academic
calendar over the past four
years.
The SUG President urged
the Management to be tolerant
with the students since in his
words, “we are prone to youthful
exuberance”. He also appealed
to the Management to continue
to run an uninterrupted
academic calendar for the
benefit of the students. “We are
to stay in office for an academic
session, please do not abandon
students' matters to the SUG”,
he pleaded.
