Los Angeles, 07 October 2014 – Vice Consul Mary Joy Ramirez led a team from the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles that conducted a one-day consular outreach program in Bakersfield, California, U.S.A. on 04 October 2014. The consular outreach program was undertaken in cooperation with the Filipino Community of Bakersfield & Vicinity, Inc. under the leadership of Mr. Jun Rivera President. A total of 170 consular and voter registration services were rendered during the one-day consular outreach program, breakdown of which is as follows: CONSULAR SERVICES Dual Citizenship Derivatives Passport Renewal Amendment Civil Registry Legalization of Documents Registration of Voters TOTAL BAKERSFIELD, CA 29 1 57 1 5 12 65 170 Vice Consul Ramirez was accompanied by Misses Clarissa Limpin, Melchora Tagle, Marie Ople and Teresa Villanueva, and Messrs. Ravinald Espiritu and Edgardo Lim. The Consular Outreach Program (COP) is a regular activity of the Consulate to bring its various services closer to its constituents residing in areas within its jurisdiction.
