The Perth Autumn Studio Tour combines the traditional with the contemporary, and has become part of Thanksgiving weekend and taking in the fall colours of eastern Ontario. The artisans participating in the tour are known for the quality as well as the originality of their work. Traditional methods are developed to new levels of creativity and time-honoured tools and skills are used in new ways. These craftspeople introduce new materials and techniques to stretch the imagination and continually renew their craft. Every year, new artists join the tour bringing new ideas, new ways of manipulating their materials and creative ways to use old ideas. The Tour is an excellent opportunity to see the artisans’ workspace and environment. Fieldwork is an open-air, public art space located across the road from Studio 2. More information on the project can be found at: www.fieldworkproject.com This year again we will be offering a gift certificate worth $200. Win this prize by filling in a ballot which can be picked up at any of our studios. You can submit one ballot per studio and drop it into any ballot box. The winner will be picked and notified after the tour. We would like to sincerely thank our customers for their constant support and appreciative feedback over the years. Your input is invaluable to us. All exhibited work is for sale. Please note that not all artists can accept credit cards For details about the artisans and photos of their work, please visit our website at: www.perthstudiotour.com Or, for more information call Riverguild Fine Crafts 613 267 5237 Take time out to enjoy a Harvest Lunch prepared with local and seasonal ingredients at Brooke Valley School Lunch from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm Gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options available. 6 FRANC VAN OORT STUDIO 2172 Upper 4th con.
