Sealed Tenders are invited in prescribed format from the owners of vehicle for engagement of a
commercial vehicle on hiring in the office of the District Magistrate, Bankura on monthly basis under following
conditions.

Conditions:
1) The fuel/payment for fuel for the vehicle will be supplied by the office of the undersigned as per Govt. rate.
Fuel allowed for hiring is I liter disel per 10 k.m. & 1 liter mobil per 500 k.m.
2) Xerox copy of blue book, registration certificate, Insurance documents, pollution under control
certificate, Tax Clearance documents to be submitted with Tender.
3) The driver will be provided by owner and driver has to be familiar with roads of Kolkata All the
repair and maintenance, taxes, fees & fine in respect of vehicle will be borne by the owner.
4) The vehicle owner will have to arrange Garage facility by his own.
5) The vehicle should be maintained in excellent condition by the owner and should abide by all the
norms of plying of commercial vehicle as laid down by the Transport Department.
6) The vehicle owner will be responsible to ensure the availability of vehicle on all days that the
vehicle is asked to report for duty including holidays, if need be. Alternative arrangements of vehicle
have to be done within a short period by the owner in case of breakdown of vehicle.
7) Vehicle manufactured on or after 01.01.2014 will only be considered for hiring.
8) Those who wish to supply new vehicle will ensure the availability of vehicle with 15days from the
date of receipt of vehicle engagement offer letter from this office.
9) If the lowest quoted rate is found for more than one bidder then newer vehicle will be given
preference.
