Infact Green Nanotechnology offers a opportunity to head off adverse effects before they occur. Green Nanotechnology can proactively influence the design of nanomaterials and helps in the sustainability of environment. It deals with the process of enhancing the natural/environmental processes producing natural externalities. Green Nanotechnology can produce revolutionizing impact in all the fields of Engineering & Technology. To name a few like: • Conservation of Fuel: Fuel catalysis in which nanoparticles improve the production and refining of fuels and reduce emissions from automobiles • Energy storage applications in which nanotechnology materials improve existing batteries and nano-enabled fuel cells • Protection of Enzymes • Defending environment: Technologies used to provide safe drinking water through improved water treatment, desalination and reuse • Thermal energy applications, such as nano-enabled insulation. • Design of nanomaterials and products by eliminating or minimizing pollution to make current manufacturing processes for non-nano materials and products more environment friendly etc. The Purpose Green Technology uses existing principles of green chemistry and green engineering to make nanomaterials and nano-products without toxic ingredients, at low temperatures using less energy and renewable inputs wherever possible, and using lifecycle thinking in all design and engineering stages. This conference highlights the perception that nanotechnologies will have a significant impact on developing 'green' and 'clean' technologies with considerable environmental benefits.
