Our sympathies and prayers to Jim Clarke sx and the Clarke
family for the sad loss of Martin. Martin’s homecoming Eucharist
was celebrated on Friday in St. James’ Coatbridge. May the Lord
bless the Clarke family with renewed hope and strength.

NEXT SUNDAY……MISSION SUNDAY
12 NOON MASS.
Can you speak a 2nd/3rd language? Would you be willing to read a
bidding prayer in that language?
Would you wear attire typical of the country of your birth or that which
represents your particular culture?
If so, please let Fr. Montesi know and SIGN UP to help out at the 12
noon Mass NEXT SUNDAY. We want our 12 noon mass to be a
creative, multi-cultural and colourful celebration of our missionary
baptism.
Following the 12 noon mass we have cake and refreshments in the
porch.
This is a great day for us as missionary disciples. WE ENCOURAGE
as many as possible to come along to the 12 noon mass.
Repairs to the parish house: Dates and times when the work will
be carried out should be known shortly.
White Poppies: From next week-end, Peace Poppies will be
available. They cost us 45p each, so we will ask for a minimum
donation of 50p. At the next Parish Pastoral Council meeting to be
held in December, we will decide which charity(ies) should receive any
monies raised from these Poppies.
150 CLUB: Congratulations to Alice Brogan (No.95) who won £100
in the monthly draw. We have once again begun a New Year. 90
spaces are still available. Please take a leaflet from the back of the
church and return it to any of the clergy or pass-keepers.
AGAP (Theatre) presents: “Fr. Kentenich – Champion of
Freedom.” (Founder of the Schoenstatt Movement). Information on
prices, locations and times in the porch of the church.
Requiem Mass: St. Peter’s Cemetery, Dalbeth, London Road
on Sunday 02 November at 3pm. In case of inclement weather,
mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Church, Tollcross.
