Northridge-­‐-­‐The University Student Union (USU) is inviting all aspiring crime detectives to find out whodunit at its annual “Murder Mystery” dinner and show event on Friday, Oct. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Northridge Center at the USU. Everyone at the show will find themselves in the middle of a puzzling crime scene and must use their best detective skills to identify the murderer before they become the next victim. All in attendance will be treated to delicious food and an exciting show featuring the CSUN Theatre Guild. “The killer can be anywhere in the room and everyone is a suspect,” said Stephanie Riley, events assistant for the University Student Union. “Students will not want to miss this thrilling and unique event, it is to die for!” -­‐More-­‐ The CSUN Theatre Guild will perform an interactive show that includes the audience as participants. It’s a unique opportunity to enjoy a professional show and gain insight on how to solve the crime along with the actors and other audience members. It’s similar to the popular board game Clue, except that Murder Mystery participants will work together to solve the fictional crime. Dinner for the event will be catered by Italian restaurant Bucca di Beppo and will feature a tasty selection of pasta and salads. Dessert will also be provided. Tickets are $5 with a current CSUN I.D. and can be purchased at the Associated Students Ticket Office in the Plaza del Sol at the USU. Students are also permitted to purchase one additional ticket for an outside guest.
