Bob Jones Academy will host
their 28th Annual Invitational Forensics Tournament, Sat., Oct. 18
on the Bob Jones University campus.
The invitational, an official National Individual Events Tournament of Champions (NIETOC) bid
tournament, is a one-day four
round tournament which begins
at 9:15 a.m. and features competition in fifteen forensic events. The
tournament culminates with an
awards program at 6:30 p.m. in the
BJA Auditorium.
Over 30 public and private
schools from four states are
scheduled to participate in the
event. A number of schools from
Greenville County are participating in the tournament including
Eastside High School, Hillcrest
High School, J.L. Mann High
School, Mauldin High School,
Riverside High School, Southside
Christian School and Southside
High School—Center for International Studies.

inspiration to our viewers as well as inform them of Christian and community
events in the Upstate.

Shane Donald, Dr. Tommy Kelly, Rev. Bart Kelley, and Verla Bennie
reflect upon the future of the S.C.B.C. Rockin’ the Nations from
Spartanburg, South Carolina, performs live music.
Tuesday, October 21, 2014 - Donnie and Dana O'Shields hear one
man’s story of how salvation led him to pursue evangelism as Michael
Francis England of Jamaica, New York, shares his testimony on
Nite Line. Michael also discusses his book of short stories, Jewels
Found Along the Path of Life. Donnie and Dana also learn valuable lessons in parenting as they welcome Dr. Richard and Carrie
Blackaby to discuss their book, Customized Parenting in a Trending World. Ernie Penley of Morganton, North Carolina, sings tonight and discusses his music ministry.

treatment. Apostle Ronald Ssali returns to Nite Line to update
viewers on Power Evangelism Ministries and discuss Open Heavens Miracle Crusade. Tonight’s program also features the testimony and music of Marlana VanHoose from Denver, Kentucky.

filled with music from Meghan Woods of Arden, North Carolina,
and Taylor Miller of West Jefferson, North Carolina. Meghan and
Taylor share their experiences participating in the North Carolina
Mountain State Fair talent competition. Music Producer Tommy
Brandt also joins Gwen and Wade tonight.

Clearview Baptist Celebrates 61st Homecoming
Clearview Baptist Church will be celebrating its 61st year with homecoming Sunday, October
19th. Dr. Dean Weaver, former Pastor from 1962- 1967 of Clearview will be in the pulpit that
morning. Please join us as Dr. Weaver does his beautiful chalk drawings as he preaches the gospel.
Please join us at 9:30 for Sunday School and worship at 10:30. Lunch will be served at 12:30 in
the._ Family Life Center. Meats will be provided but we are asking all that attend to bring a well
filled basket, meaning vegetables, casseroles, rolls, drinks and dessert.
