Dear Class of 2019 Students and Parents,
The end of your eighth grade year is fast approaching and you will soon be walking the halls of
Clearview Regional High School as a member of the class of 2019. In an effort to help to prepare you
for the high school experience, we would like to invite you to attend our 8th grade transition night on
Thursday May 21st beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Toscano Theatre at the high school.
The transition night marks the beginning of what will be the fastest and best four years of your life, your
high school years. We have scheduled a program that will serve many purposes: the first purpose is to
introduce you to some of the key personnel at the high school that will be with you every step of the way
along your journey to answer any questions that you may have and provide the support you may need
during this exciting time. You will also be able to hear from several students about their experiences
here at Clearview. I encourage you to listen to their stories as all of these students have been very
successful and can offer you sound advice as you enter your freshmen year.
Parents, the guidance staff will have a presentation for you about all of the wonderful opportunities
available here at Clearview and at the end of the presentation will be available along with the district
supervisors of instruction to answer any specific questions that you may have about your son/daughter’s
education. During this time, the students will receive a tour of the building as well as a presentation by
the administration discussing key parts of the transition from the middle school to the high school.
Finally, we will all meet back in the theatre to answer any questions you may have as well as for a little
fun to end the evening. If you should have any questions, please feel free to contact any member of the
high school administration. We hope that you find this evening informative and enjoyable and we look
forward to a great next four years.
