The Basic fundamental doctrine of this organization shall be the

NATIONWIDE JOURNEY OF PRAYER
The Power of Purity
Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of
other men's sins: keep thyself pure (1 Timothy 5:22).
As our world seems to spin out of control, many seem to
be running headlong into the world’s sinful ways. Paul
told us that the coming of the Lord would not happen
without a falling away first. Many who once walked in
truth with God, and displayed a holy and seemingly pure
lifestyle, have now given themselves over to all evil
workings of the flesh and the devil. Their lives have
become tainted and tarnished by this world and its ways.
Their lives no longer reflect purity in anyway. They have
lost their power to be holy and reflect holiness. They have
become, as Paul spoke of to the church at Rome, "vain in
their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they've became fools,
And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an
image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four
footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also
gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own
hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped
and served the creature more than the Creator, who is
blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up
unto vile affections: for even their women did change the
natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise
also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned
in their lust one toward another; men with men working
that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that
recompence of their error which was meet. And even as
they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God
gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things
which are not convenient; Being filled with all
Beginning October 1st Calvary Apostolic Church will join
with thousands of others to pray for our nation state by state
for 31 days. We will be using a booklet that contains the U.S.
Prayer Atlas to guide our journey. We’ll be praying for our
President and Vice-President, our Congressional Leaders, our
Justice System, our Armed Forces, for spiritual renewal in our
great country, and also for candidates for public office.
As we pray for our states, we’ll focus our attention on
praying for the states’ leaders, the churches across the state,
and the Christians in that state. Each day of the “Pray31” plan
will give us two simple prayer requests. We will read each of
them, reflect on them, and then pray sincerely for each one.
As you read the instructions in the booklet that we are
handing out to those who commit to pray along with us, you
will find that this will be a very powerful tool to help us lift
our nations’ need for a spiritual renewal and awakening to the
Lord Jesus.
It will only take about five minutes to do this each day.
Make it a part of your Family Devotion & Prayer Time! With
thousands nation-wide praying in unity for a great outpouring
of God’s Spirit on America, anything and all things are
possible.
It is no accident that this comes in the month of October
that precedes our Nations’ Midterm Elections. We need the
Lord’s direction and intervention, for the very sake of our
nation’s future.
The scriptures encourages us to be a part of this.
2 Chronicles 7:14 states, “If my people, who are called by
my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face
and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from
heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness,
maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity;
whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud,
boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural
affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment
of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of
death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that
do them" (Romans 1:21-32). Doesn't this sound like our
world today? When one no longer possesses the power to
maintain purity, this is what happens. The cry by the apostle
Paul to his protégé' Timothy, and even down to us today, is to
keep oneself pure. Particularly in regard to participation in
the sins of others; generally, in all things in heart, in word,
and in conduct.
When we study scriptures, under the law the priest could not
touch anything that would cause them to be defiled. Once we
are born again, we become kings and priests unto our God.
Therefore, we must not allow ourselves to become defiled
with nor by the things of this world. Purity means that our
life is absent from anything that is harmful or unclean. It
means that you are clean, wholesome, and spotless in every
way. If we were to look at the importance of purity in the
sense of being ready at any moment to meet the Lord, then
we would do everything to keep ourselves pure, as sin cannot
enter into heaven. If we are not careful to keep ourselves in
the love of God, we can be easily drawn into the world’s
pernicious ways and tarnish our good reputation and robes of
righteousness. Therefore, having an understanding of the
times, let me encourage you be an example of purity to all
those you meet. "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou
an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in
charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity"(1 Timothy 4:12).

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of
my heart be acceptable in thy sight, Oh Lord my
strength, and my redeemer.
Broccoli Chicken Casserole
1 pkg (6 oz) Chicken stuffing mix
2 Cups cubed cooked chicken
1 Cup frozen broccoli florets, thawed
1 Can (10 3/4 oz) Condensed Broccoli Soup (undiluted)
1 Cup (4 oz) Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Preheat oven to 350.
Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions, using
1 1/2 cups water.
In large bowl, combine chicken, broccoli, and soup; transfer
to a greases 11 x 7” baking dish. Top with stuffing mix;
sprinkle with cheese.
Bake 20 minutes covered; uncover and bake an additional 10
to 15 minutes or until heated through.

From a strictly mathematical viewpoint:
What Equals 100%? What does it mean to give
MORE than 100%? Did you ever wonder about
those people who say they are giving more
than 100%? We have all been in situations
where someone wants you to give over 100%.
How about achieving 101%? What equals 100%
in life?
Here's a little mathematical formula that might

sermon to affect your life.
Halfback Option - The decision of 50% of the congregation not to
return for mid-week Bible study.
Blitz - The rush for the door following the closing prayer.

Robert and Sheri Moses were born and reared in Illinois.
He came into the church at the age of 14 under Brother
Jack Jenkins’s ministry in Toledo, Illinois. She, a thirdgeneration Pentecostal, grew up in the small town of
McClure and came to the Lord at the age of seven. They
have been married for 25 years. During that time, they
were involved in the ministry of Calvary Tabernacle,
Toledo. In 1995, they began a home missions church in
Marshall, Illinois. In 2000, God called them to go as
Associates In Missions (AIM workers) to Russia where
they began working under the direction of Brother William
Turner in Moscow in the summer of 2001. After answering
the call of God to Russia, God blessed their home with a
baby boy, Robert “Anthony,” on January 12, 2001. In the
2002 General Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, they were
appointed as intermediate missionaries to Russia.
YOU can go to every country of the world through
Faith Promise Missions giving.
1. Get up in the morning anticipating a great service.
2. Plan your week so as not to permit anything to keep you from
attending church.
3. Call someone and ask them to come to church with you.
4. Pick someone up in your car and bring them to service.
5. Prepare your heart and mind with repentance before you arrive
at church.
6. Arrive early enough to pray before service begins.
7. Greet visitors and members alike with a smile and a
handshake.
8. Avoid lengthy conversations, especially about heavy or nonspiritual subjects before service.
9. Encourage others to get everything they can from the service.
10. Sit as close to the front as you can.
11. Focus on worshipping and praising.
12. Do not watch the clock, and remember to shut your phone off.
13. Actually worship with the worship leader instead of making
them entertain you.
14. Refuse to allow your mind to wander or become distracted.
15. Conquer nervousness, impatience, and the ‘fidgets’ during the
service.
16. Don’t get up and walk out during service.
17. Don’t allow a thoughtless word or act by someone ruin the
service for you.
18. Stay aware of the needs of visitors and others during the
service.
19. Remain sensitive to the Holy Ghost throughout the service.
20. Continually ask God to apply the Word to your life.
21. After applying the Word to your own life, intercede for souls at
the close of every message.
22. Assist people who want to pray at the altar.
23. Offer to attend to someone’s baby or child so they can pray.
24. Thank the minister for the message both generally and
specifically.
25. Determine how you will act differently as you leave the service.
