SYMPOSIUM OVERVIEW
Dallas Cardiovascular Innovations (Dallas CVI), now in its
fourth year, is recognized as one of the most important
educational meetings in the Southwest, specializing in
interventional cardiovascular therapies. It is designed to
not only provide cutting-edge educational content in the
areas of coronary, peripheral vascular and structural heart
interventions, but also include updates in the areas of heart
failure and cardiac arrhythmia management, cardiovascular
pharmacology and prevention. It showcases the latest
advances in cardiovascular innovation committed to
improving patient outcomes. Dallas CVI also fulfills the
unique role of bringing practitioners, innovators and
researchers together to drive the next generation of
medical innovations.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is designed for Interventional Cardiologists,
Clinical Cardiologists, Internists, Residents, Fellows
in Training, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician
Assistants, Pharmacists, and other Health Care Providers
and Investigators who participate in the management
of patients with coronary, peripheral and structural
cardiovascular diseases.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course, participants
should be able to:
• L earn about key criteria to establish the diagnosis of
acute coronary syndrome and identify appropriate
management strategies for each subtype of acute
coronary syndrome presentation.
• R ecognize and diagnose patients with peripheral artery
disease and identify high-risk subsets with life-style
limiting claudication and critical limb ischemia.
• Identify and treat patients with complex coronary artery,
peripheral vascular, valve, or arrhythmic heart disease.
•D
efine state-of-the-art management pearls to patients
with peripheral vascular disease, coronary artery
disease, valvular heart disease, and arrhythmic
heart disease.
• L earn about guideline based indications and bestpractice recommendations for the use of hemodynamic
support devices, intra-vascular imaging techniques,
physiologic assessment of intravascular hemodynamics,
structural heart and antiarrhythmic device, antiplatelet
and antithrombotic drug interventions.

Technicians or Fellows in Training. For Physicians, Nurses and Technicians affiliated with UT
Southwestern and the VA North Texas Health Care System, the registration fee is waived. The
registration fee for Industry Personnel is $125.00. Your registration fee includes attendance at
the Friday evening Hemodynamic Support Dinner Symposium and the Saturday sessions, course
materials, continental breakfast, refreshment breaks and lunch.
NOTE: Take advantage of the Early Registration Discount! Full Symposium Registration will be
reduced by $50.00 if registration is received prior to Friday, January 2, 2015.

administrative fee. There will be no refund of tuition for cancellations received after that date.
