The Box R Ranch offers several options for couples looking for a unique and beautiful country destination to celebrate this joyous occasion. Hosting weddings any Monday through Saturday. The Great Western Hall This classic western hall is an impressive grand barn with plank wood walls, wood plank floors and cathedral style ceiling. Its upper mezzanine level has a private dressing room, two large balconies overlook the main floor with windows looking out over forest views. The hall is ideally suited for weddings and/or receptions where spaciousness is desired and country comfort is appreciated. Specifications: 56’ x 96’ – 5000 sq. ft. ground floor - Banquet seating for up to 250 guests - Row seating for up to 250 guests. Rental includes all day use of Great Western Hall 8:00 am to 10:30 pm Set up of up to 250 chairs 12 church style pews 47 tables included. Choose from either 15 - round 5’ tables (seating for 6 guests) 32 - 72” x 30” rectangular tables (seating for 6 guests) or combination of both types. Plus clean up station and refrigeration: Sink and dishwashing area provided for events at no extra charge. Rental price: $2500 per day Spring/Summer/Fall $3000 per day Winter (Dec. – Feb.) Winter rates include snow removal and plowing Rehearsals: Included in your rental fee is a 2 hour rehearsal block of time the day before your wedding. Must be scheduled in advance and at times not conflicting with other Great Western Hall events. Additional hours may be booked for decorating etc. at $95/hour the day before your wedding. And Tim’s Backyard BBQ (541)890-2615 Family catered events: If you are hosting a family catered event access areas include a clean up station with sink and counters, refrigeration in our walk in cooler. It is located just next to the Great Western Hall with extensive mountain and meadow views. Each season offers its own extraordinary beauty white daisies in the spring, wildflowers in the summer, and golden yellow Aspens in the fall. Love never fails.” 1 Corinthians 13: 1-6 3 Lakeview cabin Event Guidelines: Decorations: You are welcome to add your personal decorative touch to the Great Western Hall or other Ranch location. Any hanging banners, posters, flyers (except for directions for your guests) must be cleared with the Ranch office prior to posting. In Great Western Hall thumbtacks or scotch tape (no duct tape) may be used on rough wood walls or beams. No tacks or tape on stair railings or banisters, tulle ribbon or cable ties work well. Candles: A “Unity” candle or candelabras may be used indoors during your ceremony and extinguished immediately following your ceremony. Candles used on tables must be completely inside a second holding container such as floating candles with flame below the rim of the holder. No candles on window sills, please. Please check with office for approved locations for any “tiki” torches or sparklers. Fire danger is high in the summer months and we want all to be safe while enjoying your celebration. Miscellaneous: No confetti or glitter, please. Loose or strewn flowers may be used outdoors. Only silk flowers can be strewn on floor inside buildings. Bird seed or rice is okay outdoors. No bubbles inside buildings. We do not lend out extension cords or ladders. Alcohol: The Box R Ranch is a family-friendly environment and as such does not allow any event that promotes or allows for excessive drinking or drunkenness. Pinehurst Inn and Green Springs Inn (contracted caterers) are also licensed alcohol service providers. Check with them for prices and policies. Family catered events: Limited amounts of alcohol may be used at your event and confined to wine champagne or beer. Beer is limited to 1 keg per 100 guests. Other hard liquors are not allowed. Liability insurance: If you serve alcohol you are liable for any consequences of use and/or abuse of alcohol at your function. You must provide a OLC licensed server and an event insurance policy with limits of $1,000,000 of coverage with Box R Ranch named as an additional insured. Violations of this policy will result is the automatic loss of your security deposit. Alcohol fee: $150.00 Amplified Sound: All amplified sound must be finished by 10:30 p.m. Cleaning Requirements: All trash must be placed in receptacles provided. provide must be removed. Major spills or messes must be cleaned off floor. All decorations you Deposits: One half of the Great Western Hall rental fee is due within 2 weeks of the time you book your event. Cabin deposits are first night of stay. Final payment: Final payment is due on or before the day preceding your event by cash or credit card. No checks please within 14 days of your event unless prior credit has been established with Box R. Cancellations: Your event deposit is non-refundable. Event cancellations received within 90 days of event will be charged an additional $500 cancellation fee. Security deposit: A security deposit of $250 is also due prior to your event. This will be held in the form of an open credit card for this amount. You will be notified prior to any charge for damages. No smoking inside buildings. Summer fire danger is high and smoking outside should only be in designated areas . 4
