VDZ 120 single/twin-shaft
Very simple and fast conversion
Like all Scherer models, this machine is available in right and left-hand
versions. The combination of both versions results in the twin-shaft
VDZ 120 DS – the machine for the two-sided machining that is very often required.

WDZ 250 / WDZ 250 Duo
The effective shaft lathing machine
The WDZ 250 is modularly designed and can be equipped with up to four tool carriages.
The constructional design allows the use of up to two independent collar plates and the integration of
technological procedures such as drilling, milling, grinding and finishing.
The fundamental advantage of this solution is that the substitution of gantry loaders or internal loading
systems is dispensed with. Loading and unloading takes place via special grippers in the tool turret.
This advantage reduces investment costs, space requirements, charging time and hence workpiece costs.
