Magnus Stadium, unknown time.
Down in the stadium, the two teams met up. The west team, already in their mage armors, stood across
from the east team, who surprisingly only had 3 members instead of 5.
“Excuse me?” Christine asked. “But, where's your other two members?”
Gaku turned to her. “They're sick at the moment.” He informed her. She nodded.
“...Okay. Well then, let's do this! Mages who haven't armored up, henshin for us!” The East team nodded, and
pulled out their henshin rings, and slid them on before scanning them.
[Earth... Now. Do do do, dodododo, dododo do do~!] [Water... Please. Sui Sui Sui Sui~!] [Tempest... Now. FuFu, Fu-Fu-Fu-Fu!]
Gaku and Samuel donned their armors, and a green spell circle passed over Yusuke, granting him a white
jumpsuit. His legs were now covered by light green greaves with golden marks, and golden knee pads covered
his knees. Golden braces containing green gems covered his wrists, and on his shoulders, green pauldrons sat.
His chest plate had some kind of a bird encircling a large green gem, and a helmet that resembled his ring sat
on his head, having a golden mask piece over the silver ring parts. Green sat atop the helmet to complete the
look.
“ALRIGHT! RACERS, TAKE YOUR POSTS!” Christine shouted, and everyone got to their mage machines.

PROJECT SHOWTIME: ARC 2: Tournament
Ring 8: The Second Race! The Stone's Spirit Shows Himself Again!
After everyone had gotten on their mage machines, Christine turned to them. “Alright. This race will
have something different compared to the race between north and south. First, the track is different!” She then
pointed to the large screen, which showed a different track than the last one. “Next, we'll be turning on the
artificial Underworld projectors! What these are, are magical devices that create a field with similar magical
energies to a Gate's underworld, therefore allowing Rise Rings, rings that let you summon your inner phantom
in a Gate's Underworld, to be used!” As if on cue, a large green wave shot out, and the various Mages' Rise
rings glowed for a second, confirming what she said. “However, while your Inner Phantoms are out, your Mana
Supplies will be drained much quicker due to this only being an artificial Underworld, so use them wisely!”
Having explained everything now, she moved away from the starting line, and lifted the flag. “Now! On your
marks, get set... GO!” As she waved the starting flag down, the various machines and their riders/drivers all
took off.
Zooming down the track, Takehiro looked behind him to see Gaku gaining on him. He quickly cast a spell
and launched it at Gaku.
[Hack... Loading.] Gaku suddenly swerved right, and nearly ran into a tree. Figuring out that Takehiro was doing
this, he used his other arm to steer, fighting against his arm that Takahiro controlled. Once he finally got control
again, he switched out his spell ring for a special one, which he scanned.
[GolemRise... Now.] A spell circle flew out his body, and from it came a large, hulking golem colored blue and
silver. His eyes were yellow, and his fists were larger than his head. This was QuakeGolem, Gaku's inner
phantom. He made a silent order, and the golem ran after Takehiro, who swerved right before being thrown
forward by the resulting shock wave of the Golem's fist hitting the ground.
Takehiro landed off the track, his bike a few feet behind him. He groaned as he got up, and lifted his
helmeted face to see a figure in all black walking toward him. Said figure slipped a ring on, and scanned it on his
buckle.
[GeDoU... KuJaKu!] Black and gold armor with tribal patterns appeared on his body, and Takehiro's eyes
widened beneath his helmet.
“Ah... Crap.” He moved out of the way of a sword swing. It was then that a bright light hit the one known as The
Great Evil Sealed within the Stone. The light suddenly transformed into the young man who had appeared in
front of Katsumi. In his hands were two stones, one yellow, and one being dual colored with purple and a cyan
like color.
Gaku and the others managed to see the bright light from the track, and all drove off to see what it was.
They were surprised to see Takehiro and the young man fighting against the evil mage. Rushing in, Gaku
punched at the evil mage, sending him spiraling back in surprise.
“What the hell!?” He shouted. He was suddenly sent flying back by a punch from the QuakeGolem.
“Alright, that's it! Guys, we need our inner Phantoms here!” Adrian shouted. Takehiro stood back, and sighed as
the others all summoned their inner phantoms.
[CerbeRise... Please.] [SimuRise... Please.] [GriffonRise... Now.] [AcesoRise... Please.] [WraithRise... Now.] All
at once, Several inner phantoms, A Cerberus, An artic Simorgh, a griffon, a large human like female wearing
robes, and resembling the goddess Aceso, and a wraith appeared.
Takehiro watched as everyone summoned their own Inner Phantoms. The spirit of the stone took notice of this,
and walked over to him, now ignoring the fight going on around him. “Is there something wrong, young mage?”
It asked. Takahiro looked up at him.
“...I'm not even a real mage... I run off technology that allows me to mimic magic.” He said, and pulled off the
extra Pyro ring Ms.Belladonna had given him. The spirit looked down at it, and then down at the dual colored
stone in his hand.
“May I see that ring?” He asked. Takehiro nodded, and gave it to him, slightly curious as to what it was going to
do. The spirit suddenly held out it's hand, and a large spell circle appeared on the ground. Placing both items in
the center, it began to chant in an ancient language. Takehiro watched in wonder as the circle glowed, and the
two objects suddenly fused together, creating a ring that kept the dual colors in the gemstone, while
resembling one of his own henshin rings. The spirit placed it in his hand before turning back to the battle at
hand. “Use it when the time is right... Otherwise, the consequences will be severe.” With that, the spirit
reached down to his waist line, and a buckle formed around it's waist. The buckle held a white hand with a light
blue outline. A ring appeared on his left hand, holding an orange gemstone with an actual cut to it. “Henshin.”
[Change... Eternally.] An orange magic circle appeared over his body, changing him into a white bodysuit with
gold armor pieces on it. A golden mask sat over his ring like helmet. He rushed into the fight, kicking the evil
mage aside while Takahiro watched, before looking down at his new ring. He placed it on his own strap, and
then rushed in as well.
[ChAiN...EtErNaLly...] Chains appeared form the ground, lined with razor feather, and each cut into the Inner
Phantoms and mages, causing everyone to scream in pain. Gaku struggled to get up, then remembered
something.
“What's this?” He asked, pulling it out. “...'To whom this basket of gifts goes to... Congratulations! You and four
others have selected to participate in an upcoming tournament between the four main schools! In this basket
are several rings you may need at a later date. If you have any questions, please come to my office. Signed,
Headmaster Hotaru Kuroyami.'” After reading the letter aloud, the young man looked into the basket again,
and saw a large, yellow gemstone sitting there. “...Seriously? Is she just giving me a Magic Stone?”
“Wait a minute...” He said aloud, and pulled out his connect ring.
[Connect... Now.] His connect portal appeared next to him, and he reached into it, pulling out a large yellow
gem stone. The evil mage took note of this.
“A magic stone!?” He screamed. The stone began glowing, before the glow faded, leaving two rings behind. The
first was similar to his usual henshin ring, but with an additional claw on top, and flip down goggles piece. The
second had a picture of a golem on it, with the golem seemingly coming apart and attaching to a human
silhouette.
“Hmph. Guess I get a new power.” Gaku said, and looked to his Inner Phantom. “Let's go, Golem!” He then hit
the Shift Lever on his buckle, and the hand rotated as he slipped on his new ring. QuakeGolem lumbered over,
and Gaku scanned the ring as the ground beneath his feet began to crack.
[Earth...] Golem turned into a spirit like form, and floated into the air, before slamming into Gaku's mage armor.
[...Golem! Dan Den Don Zu Dogon, Dan Den Dogon!] The flash of light created by Gaku and Golem fusing
faded, leaving Gaku's mage form, Quake, in a new armor.
His tunic was now yellow in color, and the bottom part had turned into coat tails. His normally black boots were
now all silver, with the two yellow gemstones in them being the same. The bands on his wrists now held yellow
gems. His chest plate now resembled Golem's head, made with a dark blue metal. The golem head chest plate
extended off into the shoulder pads, which looked similar to his regular Earth Style ones, except in blue, and
the gem inside them had overgrown, and now covered the tops of them. Finally, his helmet now had an
additional claw piece on top, and two piece metal that connected to the claws in the corners, framing eye
pieces.
The spirit watched, and smiled under his helmet. “It seems another has evolved.” He whispered, and kicked at
the evil mage. “Now all that's left is for the others to evolve as well.”
The evil mage chose this time to pull out a couple of stone, and threw them, releasing Ghouls on the field of
battle.
Adrian ducked under a swing of a Ghoul, and looked at the ring Ms.Belladonna had given him. He put it away
for now, and switched his Cain ring for one with a black gemstone in it. He hit the shift Lever of his buckle and
scanned it, causing a black Magic Circle to pass over his body.
[Abel... Please. Ya-Ya-Yami!] The circle vanished, leaving Adrian in an armor similar to the Cain style, with black
gemstones in place of the white, and a different arrangement of the gems on his chest plate. He kicked at a
Ghoul, an aura of darkness surrounding his foot. Said Ghoul flew into another group of Ghouls, who all fell
down like bowling pins. “And stay down!” He shouted.
Meanwhile, Erika switched out her rise ring for another depciting a snowflake. Scanning it, a cyan spell circle
appeared in front of her. [Blizzard... Please.] A freezing blast of air hit some Ghouls, freezing them into ice
blocks, which she quickly shattered. She ducked under another swing from behind, and quickly hit the Ghoul
where the sun don't shine. It went down in a heartbeat.
Back with Gaku, he ducked under a swing from the evil mage, and hit it in the stomach. It went back,
holding it's stomach in pain. Gaku reached for the other ring he had obtained, and scanned it. “This will be your
end!”
[Special... Rush! NOW!] Golem appeared behind Gaku, and suddenly split into pieces, which attached onto
Gaku's body. Large Fists now adorned his arms, and larger parts adorned his feet. Spikes rose form his back, and
a slightly larger version of Golem's face on his chest. He charged at the evil mage, and he went flying back
pretty far. Gaku suddenly jumped into the air, and delivered a powerful kick to the mage's chest, sending him
spiraling into the distance.
Soon after, the Ghouls had been finished off, and the Spirit had vanished once again. The others soon got to
their vehicles again.
“Hey, Good luck.” Gaku said to Takehiro. The two bumped fists, and off they went, back down the track to finish
their race.
A few hours later, the West team sat in their room they were given. “I can't believe we tied...” Takehiro
said aloud, and fell back onto his bed.
“Hey, think of it like this: At least we got stronger, right? We had some real battle practice.” Adrian said to him.
He looked down at the other ring he had obtained from Ms.Belladonna. He placed it back on his ring strap, and
looked over at the two girls of the group, Lissa Exalt and Erika Akita, who were talking.
“Yeah...” Takehiro muttered, and pulled out the dual colored ring he had obtained from the spirit. He looked it
over, and then muttered something under his breath, before putting it away again. He closed his eyes, deciding
to take a quick nap.
Near the spot where the battle had taken place, two mages stood, both wearing similar armors.
The first wore a black jumpsuit with dark silver armor over it. His left shoulder was covered by a pauldron
resembling a wolf's head, and said head extended into the chest plate area , where what looked like an
engraving of wolf fur sat. Red lines went down from his collar to his legs, and stopped just before his greaves.
His head was covered by a helmet resembling a wolf face, with two large, yellow eye pieces. A red diamond sat
in the center of his forehead. A black mouthpiece like a wolf's muzzle sat near where his mouth would be.
The other mage wore a white body suit with brighter silver armor over top of it. He wore silver braces with
small little teeth like pieces on them, and fur coming out of the tops of them. A tan cape hung from his
shoulders that ended just after his knees. His chest plate was a giant silver wolf head, with the ears sticking up,
acting as a collar. His shoulder pauldrons had spiked pieces, with fur sticking out of the bottoms of the
pauldrons itself. His head was covered by a similar helmet to the one the other mage wore, but with a silver
mouthpiece, and much more pronounced ears.
“Think they have what it takes, Varg?” The second mage asked the other one, named Varg.
“I don't know... We may have to take matters into our own hands, Rupe.” Varg said. They soon vanished
aftwards.
