Troop 189, Montclair, VA Event Information Flyer & Permission Slip Walter Mitty/Webelos Campout October 17-19, 2014 Who: Troop 189 Scouts and Scouters. When: Meet at Pattie Elementary, Friday, October 17, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. We will return to Pattie on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at approximately 9:15 a.m. Where: Pattie Elementary School for car-pooling. Camp location is Prince William Forest Park, Turkey Run Ridge, Campground sites C & D. Major Details: biking/boarding and/or fire building/starting/1-rope-bridge and Jamboree on the Air, plus radio and photography MB opps. Uniform: Travel to and from camp in Full Class A Uniform. No uniform, no camp, no exceptions! Equipment: 10 essentials from Scout Handbook, warm sleeping gear, clothes, footwear necessary for camping and all gear for biking. Food: Scouts must bring $10 for Grubmaster. As the parent or legal guardian of ___________________________________, I hereby give my permission for this child to participate in an outing with Troop 189, departing October 17, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. from Pattie Elementary School and returning October 19, 2014 between approximately 9:15 a.m. I give permission to the leaders of the above unit to render First Aid, should the need arise. In the event of an emergency, I also give permission to the physician, selected by the adult leader in charge, to hospitalize, secure proper anesthesia, order injection, or secure other medical treatment, as needed. I further agree to hold the above named unit and its leaders blameless for any accidents that might occur during this outing except for clear acts of negligence or non-adherence to BSA policies and guidelines.
