Gabrielle Nadeau | Architect | Project Leader
Biography
Gabrielle Nadeau began her collaboration with Bjarke Ingels Group in 2008. She completed
her professional Masters of Architecture at the School of Architecture at Laval University
in Québec City in spring 2008. After graduating, she was included on the honor roll of
the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, which recognizes those with an outstanding
academic record. At BIG, Gabrielle regularly works on competitions and works effectively
in a creative environment while under pressure. She has been part of all of BIG’s recent
successful endeavors in France - she led the winning project Europa City, a 80 Ha master
plan for a commercial and entertainment center that is blended into its urban texture;
Paris PARC, a new research facility for La Sorbonne in Paris; and MÉCA, a cultural center
that hosts three regional institutions: a museum, a multipurpose theater and offices.
Gabrielle was also a key player in the first publication of Yes is More, with both the
exhibition and monograph enjoying great success worldwide. Currently, Gabrielle is the
project leader on MÉCA and is responsible for developing the project from the initial
competition phase right through to delivery.
