Millions around the world go hungry everyday, even in our own community! This halloween, help stop hunger before it strikes. We Scare Hunger will be happening all month long at MBCI. The Social Action Group is asking all students at MBCI to donate non perishable food items so we can help organizations in the Pas such as aurora house and the homeless Shelter. Northland ford has joined We Scare Hunger and Free the Children to challenge the community to fill 5 F150 trucks with donated food items. We have challenged the other schools in the school division to see who can donate the most food items. Not only will the number of items be counted for grade wars, the total items collected will be weighed and we will see which school wins the challenge of collecting the most!!! Mr. Wadelius from SBMS school says, "bring it on!!!" As some may remember MBCI won the challenge two years ago when we collected the most pennies for the We create change. So we can't let them beat us this time!!! We will be collecting food items starting this week until October 31st!!! You can drop your items off in the following rooms to count for the grade wars...
