Pir Zia Seminar
The Path of Love and Light, October
17th to 19th, at the Holy Wisdom
Monastery, 4200 County Highway M,
Middleton, Wisconsin.
In addition to a body and mind, every
human being possesses a heart and a
soul. While the body and mind are
valued in today's world, the cultivation
of the heart and soul is a mostly
forgotten art. In this gathering, utilizing
age-old Sufi methods, we will turn
within to rediscover the hidden
capacities of our hearts and souls. As the
heart and soul are purified and
awakened, they become effective
instruments for the transmission of love
and light.
Pir Zia Inayat-Khan is the spiritual
leader of the Sufi Order
International, a mystical and ecumenical
fellowship rooted in the visionary legacy
of his grandfather, Hazrat Pir-o-Murshid
Inayat Khan.
Pir Zia is the President of the Suluk
Academy and founder of Seven Pillar s
House of Wisdom. He holds a Doctoral
degree in Religion from Duke University
and is a recipient of the U Thant Peace
Award. His recent books include
Caravan of Souls: An Introduction to the
Sufi Path of Hazrat Inayat Khan, and
Saracen Chivalry: Counsels on Valor,
Generosity, and the Mystical Quest, both
published by Suluk Press. Pir Zia lives
with his wife and two children at The
Abode of the Message in rural upstate
New York. For more about Pir Zia and
