Magazine Fundraiser, The wrong order forms were sent to us in our magazine packets. You may use
the current forms, but send no money. Parents, please sign the form in the space for
school/organization name.
CHICK FIL A Spirit Night for Rose Hill Christian School Monday, October 13 from 2:00 until
10:00. Bring the flyer or snap a picture of it on your smart phone to show when you order. Rose Hill
will receive a percentage of your order!
Belks Charity Day tickets (November 8) are available for $5. Get coupons available only at the time
of the sale. Can't make it Nov. 8? You can use your coupons early and pick up your purchases later.

October 13th – Picture Re-takes!
October 17th – Fall Festival 3:00-6:00 p.m.
December 4th – Elementary Christmas Program! Please mark your calendars so that there will be no
conflicts at the last minute. Tryouts for solos and speaking parts will be the week before fall break and
parts will be assigned the week after fall break.
Important Information
Attention Parents: If your child is going to be absent you must notify the office before 10:00 a.m. Parents
with students in grades 7-12 need to call the high school office at 324-6105, and grades K4-6 need to call the
front office at 329-1957. If they will be coming in before lunch and would like to order lunch you must tell the
office. Also, if you would like to get your child=s work for the day you will need to email your child=s
teachers. Also, if your child has had a fever please do not send them to school until they have been
without a fever for 24 hours.
Excused Absence: Please send a note with your child, stating why he/she was absent, when returning to
school. Students in 7th – 12th grade need to bring their note to the high school office.
STI – Parents of students in grades 1st -12th. You must have a username and password for STI (our computer
grade program), in order to view your child’s grades. Please see Julie in the high school office to receive this
information.
Upcoming College Information Programs:
10/14/14 The Universities of Harvard, Yale, Virginia and Princeton will be hosting an informational
program for parents and students in Charleston, WV. For complete information and to register go to
www.harvardprincetonuvayale.com.
10/16/14 Morehead State University will be hosting a MEET MSU event at Fannin Automotive on US
60, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Application fee will be waived and light refreshments will be served. Those in
attendance can register to win a $500 textbook voucher as well as other door prizes.
ACTC Dual Credit Fees Past Due: Students who have registered to receive college credit for English,
US History, Math or Biology have until October 15 to pay the $50.00 enrollment fee to ACTC. This
may be done online or at the College Drive Campus. Students who do not pay by this deadline will be
dropped from the course. Parents should note that even though fees have been paid to Rose Hill, this
$50.00 fee is a separate fee and goes directly to ACTC.
Financial Aid Program Scheduled: On October 20, at 6:30 PM, Amy Rose from the Kentucky Higher
Education Assistance Authority will be here to discuss how to meet the costs of a college education. She
will offer information on filing the FAFSA, loans, scholarships and other methods of financing a higher
education. All parents are invited. This program will be especially timely for those with seniors and
juniors who plan to attend any type of post-secondary educational institution. The meeting will take
place in the high school building, next to the office.
OLBH Lunch with a Professional: The next session will be on October 23 from 11:00-1:00. The topic
is Nursing and will include a hospital tour and lunch with a nursing professional. Participation will be
limited to the first 25 high school students who register. Parents are responsible for transportation. To
