2014-15 Austin County Fair Results ACF Livestock Judging Team 1st place Sr team of Jordan Murray, Allison Schram and Drew Fleming beat out of 50 teams to win the Sr Division. Drew Fleming was first high point individual followed by Allison at 4th.The team of Austin Young, Matt Young, Tater Kruzel and Reed Langton placed 22nd. Austin led the way with a 21st place individual score. Drew, Jenna and Austin all landed in top 10 of county. The Intermediate Sealy FFA Livestock judges had a solid day as well. The team of John Owen, Rhys Reichardt, Cory Barrett and Avery Oliver placed 3rd. Cory led the way with a 6th place high point award followed by Avery at 13th and John 21st. The team was also recognized for being the top team in Austin co with all team members landing in top 10 of Austin co participants. Meghan Hein led the team of Jordyn Davila, Montana Hicks, Cody Castille to a 11th place finish and third in Austin Co. Meghan joined Cory in the top tem with a 7th high point individual award and a top 10 county recognition. Kody Brantner and Makia Richardson joined the Sealy Intermediate participants. The Jr. team of Tracer Kruzel, Grayson Oliver and Kenna Schram placed 3rd in the Jr division and 2nd in county. Tracer was 8th high point individual overall and all three team members were top 10 in county. Drew was also first catch. Buckles and Banners The 2014 ACF proved to be a successful as any for Sealy FFA members. It is a good thing when we lost count of how many buckles Tigers actually won. We know Drew Fleming led the Tiger FFA taking home seven buckles. Seventy one (up from 63 last year ) FFA members earned spots in the Auction bringing home an amazing $207,000 not counting add ons. The community was supportive of our members during the Auction. Sealy Tigers could be seen exhibiting the Tiger way from Tuesday-Sunday in the barn, show ring, ring side and across ACF. Courtney Reichardt again led a group of enthusiastic parent supporters from start to finish. The Coke stand was a success. There were additional contests within calf scramble, pen of heifers, or other details that may not be reflected in results listed. Also, some FFA members were successful with 4H projects. Additionally the hard work invested, lessons learned, memories made and impact generated are never easy to be measured but without a doubt Championship worthy. Sealy FFA Be a Champion!!!
