Leeds Trinity University: warmly invites parishioners to the celebrations for the patronal
Feast day being held this year on 5th November. Mgr John Wilson, will celebrate Mass at
10.30am in the Chapel. After light refreshments, Fr Bob Gardner, SDB, will speak about St
John Bosco, founder of the Salesians, whose Bicentenary we are celebrating this year.
Lunch will follow and the opportunity to participate in a raffle and a charity auction for CAFOD.

Concert on Friday 14th November in the magnificent setting of The Left Bank on Cardigan

“Step into Christmas with Catholic Care”: Please join Catholic Care for a Christmas
Party Night at the Leeds Irish Centre on Friday 28th November from 7.30pm. Tickets are

FINANCE: Offertory Collection £3231.31. Many thanks. If you pay tax and have
not already taken out gift aid on your donation and wish to do so, please speak to one
of our priests. Doing so increases your donation by 25% at no expense to you, as we
claim that amount from the Inland Revenue.
Gospel Of Saint Mark: next sessions are on 24th and 31st of October and 7th November.
Each session is 7.30 to 9pm at St Paul's Church Hall. Refreshments will be provided.
Charity Table Top Event: Don’t forget to book your table there going fast. The event will be
held on the 16th November 2014 from 10.30am till 3.00pm in the Queens Hall. (setting up is
from 8.00am.) Last year all donations received for tea/coffee and buns were given to Mencap.
This year donations will be given to Mary’s Meals. Mary’s Meals provide daily meals to
chronically hungry children in a place of learning. In this way the hungry child is attracted
to the classroom where they can gain a better future for themselves and their community.

St Gemma's Annual Flag Day: Advance notice that the Flag day this year will be on Saturday November 29th. Extra collectors are always appreciated. Boxes will be given out

The pro-life charity is hoping to open a charity shop in the Cross Gates area of
Leeds in early 2015. They need to raise £10,000 to cover start-up costs and so far
have raised over £6,000. LIFE would be grateful for any financial support from parishioners in

Immaculate Heart of Mary CPS Open Morning: 12th November 2014. If your
child is due to start school in September 2015, you are welcome to visit the school
between 9.30am and 11.30am. Our Y6 children will show you around the school
and the Senior Leadership Team and admin staff will be available to answer any
questions regarding general school life and the admissions procedure. We are looking forward to meeting you!
