LECTURER
Ted specializes in investment, asset valuation and economics. He has over 8 years of
experiences in teaching all three levels of CFA courses and more than 10 years of
experiences in investment research. Ted conducted research on property market as
well as financial analysis on investment projects in Hong Kong. His was once acted as
a consultant to MTRC and the Hong Kong Airport Authority and as an in-house trainer
for Langham Hotel Group.
Ted is highly applaud for his clarity in explaining difficult concepts and has taught over
800 CFA candidates. He was the CFA lecturer in Kaplan Financial and taught Master
of Finance program in the Open University of Hong Kong. He is also a columnist writer
for Eduplus magazine (Singtao Newspaper Group).
Ted Kwan, CFA MSc
Apart from teaching, Ted is the Chairman of Fullness Christian Social Enterprise Ltd,
aiming to provide vocational training for youth-at-risk in Hong Kong, which received
the Outstanding SE Award 2011 from the Hong Kong Government. He also served in
the Continue Education Committee of the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts
and received the Decennary Service Award in 2011.
Ted received his first degree in Hong Kong and subsequently a Master Degree in
Singapore. He is a CFA charter holder since 2001.

Refund policies and other Rules and Regulations
1.Collection of the fee is in accordance with the conditions stipulated in the Education (Exemption) (Private Schools
Offering Non-Formal Curriculum) Order. The fee is collected on an equal monthly basis. If the school fails to
operate the course as scheduled, the school will give the above student a full or partial refund. The above student
should retain the receipt for refund purpose.
2.Students who register the course should make the first installment payment (net amount) to Upfront Education
Centre.
3.Enrolment will be recognized upon receipt of the first installment payment before the commencement date of the
course and the student is liable to pay the remaining monthly installments on the 1st day of each calendar month.
4.We will refund the students in full or in pro-rata the course fee collected within 7 days if the course cannot be
operated as scheduled.
5.The course fee received is non-transferable.
6.When typhoon signal no. 8 or black rain signal is hoisted on the day of the course, the class will be automatically
cancelled. A replacement class will be re-arranged on another day.
7.The course notes and materials distributed in class are subject to the law of copyright in Hong Kong. HKITI
reserves the right to take legal action to anyone who violates it.
8.Students are not allowed to record or video taped the class without prior consent of the course provider.
9.We reserve the right to disqualify the enrolment eligibility of the student for any misbehavior and violation to the
above rules and regulations.
