YBHG. Dato' Seri Dr. Mohd Ajib Anuar serves as President
of Tin Technology Limited, UK, President of the Malaysian
Chamber of Mines. YBHG. Dato' Seri Dr. Anuar serves as a
Vice President of the Malaysian Chamber of Mines.
Nico Kanter has been appointed as a President Director
of PT Vale in 2011 aster served as an Independent
Commissioner of the Company since 2009.
Before he was Head of Country of BP Indonesia where
he started his career in 1984 as Corporate Lawyer then
as a Human Resources Manager in 1996. His career
at BP continued to advance until he was promoted
as Executive Vice President of Human & Resources &
Relations before assuming Head of Country role.
He has more than 36 years of experience and expertise
in the global tin and mineral resources industry. He
has been an Advisor to the Board of Malaysia Smelting
Corporation Berhad (“MSC“), a subsidiary of The Straits
Trading Company Limited since January 1, 2014 and
served as its the Group Chief Executive Officer since June
1994 until January 2, 2014.

The Philippines
Richard Stanger is the founding and present president
of the CAMEC (Cambodian Association For Mining
And Exploration Companies) and has been actively
involved in the development of mining exploration
in Cambodia since 2004. With more than 25 years
of involvement in mining and exploration, previous
experience includes directorship of several ASX-listed
public companies as well as numerous unlisted
entities, direct mining experience and a number
of years in the management consulting industry
primarily focused on the mining industry.
SIMON HANRAHAN
Chairman SRK Consulting Australia
Simon trained as a Mining Engineer and has worked in the Resources industry for 27 years.
International experience has been gained across the whole value chain and over multiple
commodities.
During a career with Gold Fields of South Africa and Rio Tinto, Simon has worked in South
Africa, Australia and the USA in underground and surface operations/projects involving; gold,
copper, base metals, coal, platinum, industrial minerals and diamonds.
Simon has held management and leadership roles and worked in Project Studies (all phases),
Project Construction, Commissioning, Production Ramp-up and Operations. In addition,
Simon has gained specific experience in Block Caving, through project studies, development
and construction, ramp-up and operations. Since joining SRK in 2010, Simon has been
involved in multiple international consultancy work, typically involving project management
for studies, technical studies/reviews, due diligence reviews and project construction
oversight. Simon is a Practice Leader within SRK and is currently Chairman of SRK Australasia.

and Exploration Companies
Chris is well known in Australia for her international
trade expertise and has 25 years of international trade,
export development and management experience. Chris
runs Business without Borders, a boutique consulting
company specialising in international strategy, growth
and innovation for the small-to-medium business sector.
Stephen Hughes is geologist with over 17 years
technical and management experience in coppergold exploration and mine geology, specialising in
porphyry, skarn and epithermal type systems.
Mr Hughes spent 12 years with PT Freeport Indonesia,
including several years working at Grasberg Open Pit
mine, which contains the world’s single largest known
gold reserve and the third largest copper reserves. He
also managed the underground mine geology team,
responsible for supporting a 60-80K/day block cave
mine operation.

at Australian Business International Trade Services. She
started her career in New York City where she helped to

facilitate discussions on export matter.

Dir. Ir. R. Sukhyar serves as President Commissioner
of PT Perusahaan Perseroan Aneka Tambang Tbk
since May 31 2012. He graduated from the Monash
University in Melbourne Australia in 1990 with a Doctor
of Philosophy degree in Earth Science and the National
Resilience Institute in 2003.
DR. SOMPHAVAN INTHAVONG
Lao Mining Association
Dr Somphavan Inthavong - Advisor to the Lane Xang Minerals Board of Directors. Dr
Somphavan has had a distinguished career as a senior member of the Government of the Lao
PDR. He was a member of the first three legislatures of the National Assembly of the Lao PDR
from 1975 until 1997. He held several posts within the Government, including those of
Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Auditor General (1998 to 2002). He has also held
senior positions within the State Planning Committee and the Mekong Committee and was
First-Vice Minister of the Ministry of Co-operation and Trade (1998-99). Dr Sompahavan is a
civil engineer with a doctorate in hydraulics. Educated in Laos, France and Switzerland, Dr
Somphavan has particular expertise in dam engineering and water resource development
planning.
Currently holds the post of General Director of Mineral
and Coal of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral
Resources of the Republic of Indonesia and previously
held the post of the Head of the Geological Agency of
MEMR.
